What's new in the alarm clock in the Apple Clock App?

I'd love to see a notification how much time is left before the alarm rings when turning an alarm on!
 
I updated my iPad with 4.3 Beta 2, but I can not find the gestures, where are they? did i need to install Beta 1 first to enable them?

Thanks... I was replying to someone else's question. The beta is installed on a second device.

How do you know it is not apple's problem? There is a chance it might be. (unless you know for sure. Do you?)

no it's not Apple's problem. this is why they release beta's, so developers can prepare their apps for 4.3

i'm sure that Skype, and a ton of other companies are already working on 4.3 compatible apps.
 
For my iPad, typing on the keyboard doesnt make sounds anymore even with volume all the way up and Keyboard Click is On. The sound of unlocking and locking the iPad doesnt play anymore either. It plays music through the iPod app though. Anyone else having system audio issues?
 
The fact that AirPlay video is opt-in for Safari is crazy. How many Web sites are really going to update their pages to opt-in for AirPlay?

Apple should have made it opt-out, and let the Web sites that have rights concerns block users from using it. Not the other way around.

Yep don't get it either. Haven't you just paid for the app, so cancelling gets you a refund too does it?

Maybe it more of a delay thing to save data on a 3G plan. Cancel now and download later on wifi. Don't know but seems odd most apps download so fast it's gonna be impossible to cancel them anyway. Odd..

Then they won't affect your data plan too much, most likely.

As mentioned by others this looks like it can get around the frozen installation that some people have had happen WITHOUT doing a reboot of the phone.

Always a plus.
 
Is there a wifi hotspot in this beta? If so, how likely is this to stay in the final release? I know there will be for Verizon iPhones... but what about the rest of us? I'm in the UK here with unlimited data (no cap) including tethering however I never bother with it because I can't be bothered to use the usb cable or bluetooth!

Please see my previous postings. Yes. I'm with O2 and tether my 3GS to iPad (wifi only) by using the Hotspot function on 4.3 beta. It works using Bluetooth to make the connection.

Not odd. Needed and welcome. Had many instances in the past of app downloads hanging up, and said to myself, "Boy, it sure would be nice if they gave you a way to stop the download."
 
Can a tester try airplay with iPhone 4 videos in the camera roll please.

Do these now stream to a Apple TV fine. I know video works in some apps, and photos do from camera roll, but why on earth do videos you've recorded on iPhone camera not airplay to an Apple TV

I like how the new text tones are shorter. Makes much more sense. Plus the vibration for the incoming texts is only 2 quick vibrations ratehr than the 5 vibrations they were testing on earlier betas.
