Is the smart playlist issue fixed yet?

It's not syncing in the right order :(

I also have a huge problem where a large smart playlist (1,000+ songs) will just crash my phone yet run JUST FINE on my 3GS...

*anyone see that they fix the bug in the album review? its annoying me every time that its stuck a little bit from song to song
 
The battery draining problem must have kept my iPhone warm, because after I updated to the new beta version, my iPhone is very cool to the touch. I didn't realize how warm my iPhone was.
 
Beta 2 for me so far:

37 minutes of usage
1 hour 22 minutes standby


I used 8% of battery. I just watched 2% drop in the past 15-20 minutes.


I would say they have more work to do. I'm gonna try a reset and maybe try to reinstall software.

On 3G for about half and WiFi for the other half.
 
Until you've had the beta 2 installed long enough to deplete the battery fully, then charge for a solid 3 hours or so, the numbers don't mean much.
 
Right now I am at

Usage: 17 minutes.
Standby: 56 minutes.

After fully charging it. Thats not bad but i haven't really used it save for a few texts. Im going to deplete it and recharge and then see what happens.
 
some users (myself) have had lesser known issues, like inability to move and scale photos across various apps. I wrote to instagram, one of the appmakers, and they said it's a known iOS 5 issue by apple, but i've not seen it mentioned anywhere. curious if anyone here had that issue and if either versions of the new betas addresses it?

I just updated OTA from beta 1 to beta 2 on my 4s and it's lost all my playlists from music :-(

It can be done OTA iTunes is not needed.

But I believe you only need the latest iTunes beta for iTunes match, not to install the beta (at least that was the case with beta 1).

Does this finally fix issues where push TO iphone4s(maybe other devices) from icloud doesn't work unless the app (mail app,ical app,etc) needs to be kept open in background for it to work?

I still can't get pushed items unless I actually have the app open in background. And yes, I took it to the apple store. My settings are correct. And no, they couldn't give me an easy fix besides that they have had others with this issue.

I don't have that problem--never did.

The only app that will not seem to push is Tweeter (yes I have set certain people I follow to wish within the app, as well as setting it on in notification center).

only two days between betas.. that was quick.. how soon will we probably see the public release? next week?
 
This beta is still a POS where battery life is concerned.

Another issue I have been experiencing with the iPhone 4S is bad bluetooth performance.

If I tell siri to play music through bluetooth, then pause the music and then try to make a phone call/a reminder/ check the weather/ etc., Siri stops responding and I have to wait a full minute for the phone to lock itself before I can re engage Siri via voice activation.
 
mmm, signs are not looking good for these betas. I'm beginning to think they just stuck in the same old battery without optimising the software and quoting similar usage figures as the 4, thinking no one would notice.
 
It is hardware rather than software problem.I mean the battery life.Just the battery is too weak.Physically, it should be stronger.I think is stupid to disconnect the phone most of the functions in order to improve her time.

The whole point of OTA updates is so you can own an iOS device without the need of a computer? No? So the fact that a complete OS replacement is available 'OTA' shouldn't be a surprise.
 
I hope all the audio problems of music App of iOS5 in iPhone 4 are also resolved in this beat 2.

In my case all music is distorted, can't listen to music anymore, no matter if I apply "volume adjustment" in Itunes or not to my mp3/aac. Also, the volume is much lower in any situation: calls, music app, viber, all...

I regret having updated my phone and look forward for 5.0.1 to fix this asap. There is plenty of people having same problems:

I don't suppose this update puts back the Multitouch Gestures on the iPad 1 does it?
