The best thing about iOS 6 could well be the new Facebook app, Google Maps and YouTube apps from Google themselves! lol

----------

From Apple:

"Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store."

I hope Newsstand gets removed and put in the place where it shouldv'e been:

THE APPSTORE

Tell them the truth - that you're an iOS developer using a Beta product on your development iPhone. Tell your friends to contact you on your other phone - your personal phone.

That's true? Correct?

Let me know when you buy me a dedicated development device, until then keep your trap shut.

I'm getting the error message of:-

Unable to Check for Update

An Error occurred while while checking for a software update

Why??

(I'm from the UK)

This is what I think

All Apple Apps (and all Apps in general for that matter)
Should be allowed to be deleted (removed from iPhone) and moved into folders.
And folders should be able to store unlimited apps.

I think this is as straight forward logical as it gets. Seriously I know Apple wants to promote its apps, but sometimes they aren't for everyone.

Control the apps, Control the app store, but allow us to organize the apps how we want on our iPhones.

i may do the same, ill still have my 4S and my iPad 3 to fill my iOS "needs" but its time to try something new on the smartphone front. saw jelly bean on my friends nexus the other day and i loved the look of the UI. seemed very polished and uptodate unlike the outdated feel of iOS (iPad is still the best tablet however)

back on topic ...

eek that status bar is still around

Yes. I recommend it. My girlfriend has an iphone and I went to use it the other day and couldn't believe how small the screen was (yes I know that's a hardware issue that will change next month), I asked: "How do you get anything done on this miniature screen?" ha. I am so used to a big, bright smooth screen now.

Jelly Bean is like a breath of fresh air. I'm already considering the s3 simply because its newer. I highly recommend you try it out. I got mine on craigs so I could keep my upgrade in case a certain someone convinces me I need the new iphone.

Errr

+1 stuck at Unable to Check for Update alert. Doesn't make a different now with Wi-Fi on or off. Same after a reboot.

Server side, it seems?

Will retry after a doze. It's 2am here in Thailand.

EDIT: Grabbing the OTA now..

Plus allow folders in folders across iOS and iCloud. Sometimes Apple can be a real pain.

I'm also in UK. I kept getting the same thing so i logged into the Dev Centre and am downloading the full version from there... It's a bigger download but it's almost finished; however, i did keep trying the OTA on my iPad and it started appearing about 5 mins ago, so i guess if you just keep trying it should appear eventually...

For those having issues with OTA, turn off wifi first to find the update, then turn it back on to update.

Faster Safari? I tried Beta 2 and Safari was incredibly fast. I cannot imagine what it will be like in the GM and with LTE!

Under cellular settings apple has now added passbook updates toggle and wifi plus cellular feature.

The wifi plus cellular allows apps having trouble using wifi to use cellular data.

----------

Privacy settings now also feature bluetooth sharing, twitter, and facebook.

I noticed a lot of small changes. Privacy settings has been updated to offer more control.

One thing that changed, all of a sudden voicemails and texts from days or even weeks ago showed. I had no indication of voicemails that were left for me, as well as texts. Very strange.

Same here. Just got 19 voicemails... seemed they weren't working correctly on the last beta... funny I didn't realize it until now. Anyone else noticing this as well?

WiFi Plus Cellular! Awesome! When I go out on my back patio the WiFi reception is always terrible and its really annoying to have to pause my game to go into preferences and turn off wifi.
