And have you upgraded to the latest version? (2010.1) I've been running it on 10.6.2 without a single flaw - the performance is crap but it does work; what errors occur? if you want help it is best to prove some information.
Yes, I have upgraded to that version but I have more reason to believe the issue is the result of some error with the Finder rather than the software. For example: when I try to copy some folder on my Mac containing simple documents onto a flash drive formatted in NTFS the Finder copies the files fine for a few seconds or so and then the error code 35 shows up (Finder cannot read or write files) and it ceases to continue copying.
I've already re-formatted my flash drive to NTFS several times and the error persists. When I format the drive to the Mac OS Extended format it copies all the files fine, strangely.
EDIT: I'm sorry! Some of the files that I tried copying onto the flash drive turned out to be not-so-simple after all. There was a folder created by the Sims 3 game in my documents folder which the app used as a save directory. I decided to move it onto the flash drive because my girlfriend doesn't play the game any more. This is the folder that causes the error, but the very first time I had formatted the flash drive to NTFS, the particular folder did copy successfully. I don't know why it doesn't now.
