Didn't remove my beta profile after RC install.
Are you on the Developer Profile or the Public Beta profile? I was using the Public Beta profile and after installing todays RC the Public Beta profile doesn't show up under Profiles for me anymore.

It seems to be more complicated than that. I'm still on b9 (avoiding the horrible Mail.app bugs in b10) and I'm still enrolled (it's offering to update) but there is no public beta profile listed in the relevant part of the security system setting.

Does anyone know if the showstopper Mail.app bug (not getting new mail, etc.) has been fixed yet? Nobody had any reports one way or the other in the previous beta.

Did they fix the Ventura bugs with thunderbolt on x86? That is, that the thunderbolt bus loses connectivity if it is connect connected to a TB4 dock/hub down when the system goes to sleep?

Isn't there an RC for macOS 12.6.1?

Agreed. Based on the negativity of Ventura, it's safe to say the whole OS is pure 🗑 with bugs that still have haven't been fixed.
I understand Apple's philosophy here, we just have to release it and iron out the bugs as we go along until its stable. Rinse and repeat for macOS 14.

Oh so you know about how stable Ventura is simply by reading a few comments. I been using it since July, and it's very close to release. Is it pure 🗑 with bugs, it really hasn’t been. There might be some issues still that don't impact myself, but I say try it, then come to a opinion otherwise you're missing out on a nice release.

While it doesn't show under profiles in System settings, if I go to software update it still shows me as enrolled, i am on the public beta.

Upgraded from Monterey to Ventura... Phone already had Photos Shared Library turned on. Photos on Ventura didn't recognize the library and wanted to start a new one. Had to sign out of iCloud completely and back in to make it work.

The only "showstopper" issue I ever had with PB Ventura was the betas killing my wifi. After much sleuthing it turned out to be my VPN. When PIA installs it has the VPN kill switch on by default. Once we tracked that down, turning off the VPN kill switch cured the "showstopper" issue of killing my wifi.

Could be something hidden deep within your ISP's settings could be killing your not getting email? Mine has never had that issue, once I fixed the "kill switch" setting.

You have to click on the learn more link and select RESTORE DEFAULTS to remove the beta profile.
@Martyimac I didn't realize this until you mentioned it and mine showed the same thing as you. I did what @Black Magic suggested and now my public beta profile is removed.

In one week she's still going to be rough around the edges for some users.
My daily driver using mainly Apple apps is pretty good, however my production system that has a lot of stuff from 3rd party devs is far from perfect. Some devs aren't there yet unfortunately. Whether its fair or their fault or not, Its on them now I guess. No better way to get them to hurry up than to release Ventura and have the non beta users banging at their gates asking why things aren't working.

So yeah, I don't think ill feel like im out of the beta period for a few months yet, haha.
