I thought AppleSeed isn't the same as being a registered Mac developer. So no foregone conclusion that devs will get it.
weird that they're not seeding it to devs yet.
That's right. Appleseed is an invitation based on Apple Developer profiles. Hopefully it will release to devs too!
Isn't this invitation only?

i couldn't have been less excited about a new release of a new OS.
block calls? useful for a phone but to me, not so much in my computer.
tabbed finder? nice but don't need.
full screen dual monitor? don't have two monitors.
safari improvements? ditched that in favour of chrome a while ago.
maps app? lol no thank you.
i'll be keeping ML which works great.
I agree, but I love tabs in Finder, but use TotalFinder. But there are a countless "under-the-hood" improvements that I am looking forward to.
ya that is what they tell you. they have to since there is very little else to show for it.
i am sceptical but who knows, this might be the next snow leopard. i will believe it once people get their hands on it and reviews start flowing in.

Wow, you mean your making judgments before you try the DP?
People (like me) have been using it for months and it's very clear there are noticeable performance and usability improvements. Have you been living under a rock?
"i'll be keeping ML which works great."
You liar.
you're right, which is why it's not a feature.

"DP 8 had a version number of 13A584, while today's release is build 13A598."
598-584= 14, or 2 weeks.
Does the Apple build number correspond to the days since development started?
598 days for maverick, or about 1year-6months?
Just curious to see if anyone has any insight into this.....
