Return Macbook Air trackpad System Preferences please!

Well, I am hoping that 10.5.7 will fix the problems with the trackpad for the Macbook Air.

Specifically, the removal of the following options from System Preferences:

1) ignore accidental touches of trackpad
2) ignore trackpad when mouse is connected.

Apple tech support tell me these options were removed as they are on by default. Err, no, they are NOT! The keyboard is basically unusable for me when attempting to type on it due to the lack of these vital options. :(

I fervently hope this design flaw is corrected in 10.5.7 as this is a show-stopper issue for me and my 4 day old Macbook Air; it is about to be returned as "not fit for purpose" :( :( :(

Well so far my prediction is panning out. I been told (I can not get that person fired) that it should come out around the third week of May because it contains code that can be found that will give clues out to what's coming at WWDC + Snow Leopard clues. 10.5.7 will be the last major update until Snow Leopard, mark my words.

You're joking, right? That's the reason they've delayed this update? Isn't that taking attention to a whole new level for all the wrong reasons?

I... don't know... what to say. :(

Taking a long time, i think it is downloading

WOW!
