Stability in OS is appreciated, and wonder why the RC for M2 machines evades. It's been 2 weeks since the last update.
I see no reason why a M2 Mac user can't upgrade to the RC. Are you using your Apple ID as a developer license or public beta license? If you don't have both to select from you haven't tried everything. Both use the ID to authenticate you to receive the RC seed.

😂 read the thread, literally no one with M2's has got the RC, myself included.

I got the update immediately available to me for 13" M2 MBA yesterday. As of 12pm CST today, still not available on my 15" M2 MBA.
something weird going on... It's a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma (which is Apple) then there is this issue.

Because it isn't working. It isn't an end user problem unless you think EVERY M2 customer is the problem and not Apple.

😂 ooooh 2 people, TWO whole people. I do love an anecdotal story. Obviously if 2 people on a forum have it, there must be no problem at all. 🤡
Have you tried disabling your usual connectivity (WiFI or ethernet) and using the other and then see if general -> software update eventually see's it? Yesterday the OTA was problematic not showing updates available immediately against multiple devices compared to previous betas. For iPhones/IPads I had to turn both of mine off and turn them on and check before the update showed.

The update is quite simply not released for M2 Pro & Max users yet.

My MacBook PRO, which is also an M2 acquired in 2023, can not see the RC update either. I tried turning off/on the automatic update install, switching through Public/Applessed/Developer profile, turning off wifi and nothing has worked so far. I have reported this issue to Apple but I'm not expecting them to get back to me. Has anybody had any success?

Incorrect. Select Ventura Public Beta and it will appear. M2 Pro 14" here ( a user commented this on a previous post on this thread):

Fair, but partially incorrect - the issue at hand is for people that are already on the Sonoma beta. If you were able to select Ventura, then you weren't coming from the most recent Sonoma DB - hence this issue wouldn't apply to you.

Has anyone noticed problems with Microsoft Office with this Sonoma beta? The formatting of documents I’d been working on was wrecked. Thank you for any thoughts.
