I actually thought MacOS 13.3 beta 4 finally resolved some safari extension permissions with hosts streaming video compared to beta2/3 that even caused panic on M1 iMac versus M1 Max MBP. So hearing the next was right to RC was a bit gutsy on Apples part. The rest of MacOS worked without any real issues.

Usually there can be quite a bit of OS specific discussions talking about confirming problems or fixed problems or new observations/discoveres. Mixing this all together creates a mess. Thats why they continue to separate them all.
Yeah true. Even if they could group on the home page would be good and allow a link or later split.

But I don’t know how the website is setup 😅

Except the messy Settings panel, I still have 2 issues on 12.2:

1. Random cannot find file errors on first try to open a file after moving it (which is fixed on second time trying to open same file)
2. Icons missing from some places, e.g. Zip icons never show in Dock Folder Overview (Fan mode) after installing BetterZip

Also apparently they have removed the ability to add a login item but hide its windows on launch.

I don't think any of these will be fixed in 13.3. fingers crossed for 13.5 or 13.6 if Apple devs actually find some spare time to fix bugs after adding all those emojis :)

For a billion dollar company Apple really does have a bunch of lazy devs who randomly remove stuff to make their jobs easier...

I mean, they literally REMOVED the entire core data diagram view from Xcode (which was very helpful and useful) just because it caused some crashes... and then in the release note said Fixed: Remove diagram view. o_O

release note attached 🤣😂

7 minutes remaining here in upstate NY, downloaded fine.

(a bit later) Installed, no issues as yet.

I used the command in terminal and it doesn't show. Used this command on terminal "softwareupdate -l"
Always thought using terminal for that was more useful than constantly fishing with software update in utilities. But it's evident nothing for either Dev or Public profiles currently, checked couple of mins ago.

Same. Tried switching between them and nothing; confused by the MR headline change.

from the release notes:

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue introduced in macOS Ventura 13.1 that caused the system to post excessive “Background Items Added” notifications after toggling items in System Settings > General > Login Items. Toggling items in macOS Ventura 13.2 doesn’t cause excessive notifications, but that release doesn’t automatically correct the issue inherited from macOS Ventura 13.1. (102352141)
YAAAYYYY!!!!!! :) :) :)

What's really weird is that I'm not on the beta at all. I'm on 13.2.1, so even if the RC had not been posted, I should at least be offered beta 4. But I'm not offered anything at all. So something is weird with Apple's update servers regarding beta/RC releases.

No regressions!

Maybe try unsubscribing from betas and resubscribing. Worked for me a while back.

I did it using Sys Settings > check for updates, didn't do any link hunting in this case.
I've been trying this and it still shows nothing, not even the previous beta despite being enrolled in the beta programme, wonder why it's showing for some and not others. Just out of curiosity, what's your model of Mac? Perhaps it's not out for all macs

Maybe it's a regional rollout to reduce load on the servers and I just got lucky?

It's a possibility, although this didn't happen for iOS, that update showed up on both my iPhone and iPad and installed perfectly

Same here.

I think the reason is far lamer. The team or person who supported the feature left and nobody cares enough to maintain it.

At least, that appears to have been the fate of Quartz Composer which was awesome.

Call me when the feature description lead isn't emojis but rather bug fixes, stability issues, or compelling new features.
Well, you could look at the release notes yourself, they're quite extensive. MacRumors chooses to use the same post over and over for these updates (just dropping in any new user-facing features and a new screenshot if applicable), but that's never the whole story.

@Realityck has the notes listed in post 19 of this thread.
