Can't tell from this version yet. No full installer yet. That might come later though. You need a full installer for a clean install. (or you can try internet recovery - but that just downloads a full installer anyway).

Is this a GM release basically which means a public release to Big Sur is imminent? Would be great to get his new updates which I’m sure adds a lot of refining updates to the Big Sur experience although the current public release has been solid on my 2017 MacBook Pro so far

nothing to fix on new MBA: worked flawlessly and speedily from the start
Not for me. I upgraded to 11.0.1 before doing a complete reinstall and it didn’t work. Had to go via a bootable installer on USB.
I had no issues with my late 2018 MBP.
Friends with older machines asked if they should update to 11. I recommended they wait until 11.1, which I felt was prudent given the issues with ".0" releases of late.
Apple is no longer using the "GM" term. "Release Candidate" or RC is the new equivalent.

Lots of people including myself having bluetooth issues with the M1 MBA (and other M1 Macs).
Do you mean the text selection bug when pressing Shift and using keyboard arrows to select text in the textbox in Messages.app? If so, I hope so too! That is one annoying bug.
Bluetooth isn't related to Touch ID, which is what the person you replied to was talking about. The original author said they hoped Touch ID would be fixed.
I also have no issues with Touch ID on M1.
Got it, so basically a public release is very near if no major bugs are found in the rc that was released today? Is public release tomorrow likely?
It'll probably be Monday when iOS 14.3 releases to support Fitness+. Apple almost never does Friday updates.
Lets hope they fix calendar event snoozing, having only one choice is idiotic and makes calendar events unusable.
Is anyone still having iCloud tab sync troubles in Safari? Mine list the pages I had open two days ago. Can't get it to update. Any solves out there?
No. I had to exchange two M1 on 11.0.1 that refused to reinstall.
The only issues I’ve had are unreliable sync over WiFi functionality and Music reverting from the artist/album view to a blank page prompting me to go to search again. Here’s hoping it gets sorted but I expect there are greater priorities right now
I’ve found my DJ/production apps surprisingly stable Traktor Pro 3/Wavelab 10/Ableton 10 and Cubase Pro 10 working a bit better than on Catalina. Xone K2 controller/Audio 10 working like a charm as well

Yeah, the official pioneer account commented on their (awfully designed) forum that they aim to release an update before the end of 2020. Thank goodness, because my brand new DDJ-400 crashed 4 times in 24 hours after connecting it to my Big Sur running iMac. Fortunately, my MBP is still on Mojave and the controller hasn’t crashed (so far!) while being connected to my MacBook so I assume that it is fortunately a Big Sur issue and not a hardware issue.
