It'll probably be Monday when iOS 14.3 releases to support Fitness+. Apple almost never does Friday updates.
That’s great, This update is surely one to look forward to for all Big Sur users including myself as it’s the first release after the main public release of Big Sur that will surely iron out a lot of the initial bugs and issues that were discovered since it’s public release a month ago

Do you mean the text selection bug when pressing Shift and using keyboard arrows to select text in the textbox in Messages.app? If so, I hope so too! That is one annoying bug.
Yep. I've worked around it, but I'm reminded every time how often I use that key combo.

I hope they fix what Big Sur did to safari.
Bookmark menu takes a while to load all the bookmark icons, very annoying. Also, I'm having pages just freeze which never happened before

Still having Touch ID issues. After booting the first time the Mac locks Touch ID works, after that it fails.

When do we think 11.1 is releasing? Same as iOS 14.3 or a different schedule?
The AirPods Max require 11.1 and there will certainly be security updates common to iOS and macOS so it's extremely likely we'll see 11.1 on Monday when 14.3 comes out.

Ah if they require 11.1 then yes, we are getting this by 15th.

My Contacts app keeps changing its default account. I fix it, and a little while later, it's changed back. (It seems to want to change to my default Calendar account (Office 365 from work), but I keep my contacts in iCloud (home account).

Hmm ... just downloaded an "11.1 Update" following the install of "11.1 RC"
What do you mean? you mean that the final build of 11.1 was just pushed to public beta testers on the public beta profile? That means we're certainly getting Final build on Monday as public release id assume

Apple today seeded the release candidate version of an upcoming macOS Big Sur 11.1 update to developers for testing purposes, with the update coming one week after the release of the second beta and a month after the launch of macOS Big Sur 11.0.1, the release version of the software.

Developers can download the macOS Big Sur 11.1 beta using the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences after installing the proper profile from the Apple Developer Center.

There's no word yet on what's included in macOS Big Sur 11.1, but it likely includes performance improvements, security updates, and fixes for bugs that weren't able to be addressed in the release version of macOS Big Sur. It also likely includes new features for the AirPods Max headphones launching next week.

No major new feature changes were discovered in the first two betas, but we'll update this article should something new be found in the release candidate. The software should see a launch on December 14 to add support for the AirPods Max.

Wait a Minuit!!!!!! 11.1? So the next version of MacOS will be 12?????? I'm not down with this change!

Having problems with high cpu usage on my late 2018 MBA after upgrading from Mojave. Safarinetworking at around 100% some of the time, windowserver around 50% tons of the time, and using the trackpad on the MBA. Battery life down from 3 days of mail/web usage to barely 1 day. Toying with the idea of erasing and re-installing from scratch, but hoping 11.1 may magically fix this before I go down that road. I skipped Catalina as I read quite a bit of bad reports about it.
