Seeing this right now as well. Hmmm...
So is the fina version of 11.1 already pushed out to public beta testers / developers on the beta profiles? Should i install the public beta profile just to install the final version of 11.1 and then delete the beta profile?

Just wait. There's no guarantee that anything released prior to the official release of 11.1 is the final build.

Having problems with high cpu usage on my late 2018 MBA after upgrading from Mojave. Safarinetworking at around 100% some of the time, windowserver around 50% tons of the time, and using the trackpad on the MBA. Battery life down from 3 days of mail/web usage to barely 1 day. Toying with the idea of erasing and re-installing from scratch, but hoping 11.1 may magically fix this before I go down that road. I skipped Catalina as I read quite a bit of bad reports about it.
When making that large of a jump from Mojave to Big Sur, I would not advise an "upgrade" over top but rather back up your stuff and do a clean installation. Way less headaches.

Let's hope they fixed the bug where it forces me to select the primary display each time I reconnect my laptop to my thunderbolt dock. Since Big Sur was released, for some reason, all apps/windows will resort back to the Macbook as the primary display instead of my external monitor. I'm forced to re-select the external display as my primary.

after the updating to Big Sur 11.1 I noticed an item under the system privacy settings > Full disc access called “SSH-Keygen-Wrapper” which was not there before the update, Can someone please check if they have this item there as well? I’ve not seen this prior to upgrading to 11.1 and have no idea what it is

I have it as well, but it's not enabled. Not sure what this is.

Found this in the Apple Communities explaining what it is:

The sshd-keygen-wrapper tool is an ssh secure shell key generator that is part of macOS, and is used when initially connecting to a Mac remotely via ssh.

If you've enabled ssh remote access via > System Preferences > Sharing, then this'd be a pretty typical tool to be used as part of that.

Here's the entirety of the bash shell source code of the tool:

https://opensource.apple.com/source/OpenSSH/OpenSSH-95/sshd-keygen-wrapper.auto.html

Basically, the tool creates several SSH-related keys to uniquely identify your particular Mac to folks connecting into it via ssh. This is a central part of enabling ssh remote access into any system with an ssh server.

If you're concerned about folks causing shenanigans, then avoid installing add-on cleaners or add-on security tools—those can be less effective and more problematic than any of us might like, can create vulnerabilities, and can sometimes cause slowdowns, crashes and hangs—and do ensure that you have complete and current backups, and particularly have at least some backups that are rotated away from your computer, or otherwise disconnected from your computer. There are certainly other recommendations here too, but these backups are your path to data recovery from loss or theft or breach or damage.

I never enabled any sort of remote access though, do you have that under the full disc access panel in system preferences as well?
Yes I do and never enabled remote access but do have a share setup with my printer which is on the same WiFi network. I do it because I like to scan documents and have it sent directly into a folder I have on my Mac. I'm not sure if that's why it's in the listing of full disk access items but I do not that it is NOT enabled. It's in the list but no checkmark in the box.

It is unticked for me as well but I never used any sort of remote access of any kind from another computer, is this something to be worried about my Mac being compromised with malware in any way? Why would that setting by there if I never used any remote access to any other computer?
I just noticed that setting show up under Full Disc Access after updating to Big Sur 11.1

Anyone have a fix for how the SAVE dialogue window pops up under this new Big Sur v11.1 release? The sidebar is really small and no matter how many times I try resizing it using the OPTION key with the mouse it doesn't retain the window sizing. Something got screwed up with this save dialogue window in this updated release.

This is a MacOS thread... you're posting iOS release info. No misinformation. Not my fault you couldn't see the difference.
I’m posting about iOS? What in the world are you smoking? I posted about BigSur 11.1 being out, What does iOS has to do with anything?
