definitely way better in this version. Still lots of bugs but does not get brutally hot anymore. Well, not yet at least and feels more stable. More responsive. At least the past hour.

The initial dev release crashed my 15 pro max and had to DFU it back from a backup. Might hold off on this one

I have the unable to check for update issue.....I have tried all the various things I know to do..reset network, power cycle, use cellular data, etc...nada. An error occurred while checking for a software update.

No you’re right. It seems to be less… muddy? Also, I’ve noticed that safari isn’t acting as janky as before.
Control center was unchanged...

Has anyone with a 16 Pro Max, featuring a black charging screen, successfully installed this version?

Eh actually still getting a bit hot. Like where you can smell the metal heating up. But it is more stable. Think the apps needs be updated too though. ( iPhone 15 pro max )

It’s more responsive on my 16 Pro shew. Maybe it’ll reduce the battery drain/heat issues.

Installed first beta OTA on 16PM. Only issues are lag/stutter. 547.1MB for OTA for this revised beta; will report back with results.

For me it seems the contrast issues, especially how the Control Panel overlay was so difficult to see with insufficient blur with the background, has been tweaked... improved a good bit. Perhaps this is placebo, but it does indeed look better to me.
Might just be me but I feel like the edge glow has been reduced on the icons

Does anyone have the direct download link for this? I am stuck in Unable to Check for update and my sneaky suspicion is that this newer build will resolve that problem.

Can we get multiple users please? And/or can they bring the existing multiple users feature for MDM customers over to the consumer market? Thank you
This is the first I've heard of this feature, but fwiw it's actually pretty easy to set up an mdm for yourself. I did it because I wanted to be able to hide some apps you can't uninstall by default.

I use jamfnow.com. It's free for up to three devices, which for personal use should be more than enough.

There is one tricky thing—in order to use certain features, you have to completely wipe your phone before enrolling in the mdm, and you have to do so in a specific way, using the Apple Configurator app. However, knowing nothing about this "multiple users" feature, it doesn't sound like something that would require wiping your phone first. This is usually reserved for features that give the mdm operator (which of course in this case is you) a great deal of control over the device.

Try to power off the phone and power it back on. It did that for me and that's how I got it to work
