  • Respring bugs from iOS 10.2.1 carry over: swipe down Notification Center, hold the screen halfway between widget and notification views, tap on Search bar and then lift finger off the screen, or hold the AirDrop and Camera buttons in Control Center at the same time then release
if this bug is fixed.. i'll give it a go for beta 2
Not sure that is a top fix. Seems like that is something to do to try and create an issue. Not something that would be used in normal operations.

[Edit] However holding airdrop and camera buttons at same time for whatever reason one would do so, doesn't respring in B2. (at least for me. I tried it several times and nothing weird happened)

everything seems the same, strange for a beta 2 after 2 weeks at this rate it will be ready soon, folders still not 60fps

Phone is super fast but opening folders is so slow
Yeah same here. Group folders were slow in b1 as well. They are smoother tho but definitely slower.

Black settings screen fixed??
Wait, you mean the black initial screen when opening an app? No that is not fixed.

Seems maybe quick reply works again while on phone call. Only a single test but it worked where as b1 never did for me.

I look forward to being able to turn off being pestered about reviewing apps. I never review apps, and being asked to do a review just annoys me.
Ya baby! It's here!

Never had an issue with this in Beta 1, care to elaborate? Happy to try and reproduce.
I think he is referring to the initial black screen when opening an app (or settings) the 1st time its opened. Doesn't do it on subsequent openings only the initial one so have to close app/settings then open it fresh to see it.

I've found one thing: The Apple Pencil charging issue is fixed.

Not convinced it is. My larger iPad Pro on 10.3b2 did nothing to the 45% charge on my Apple Pencil for 5 minutes.

UPDATE: maybe a bit hasty. Apple Pencil now at 66%.

Good news. Now just need them to release the public beta

Just need Three to support Integrated Calling now.

The missing call block information under Phone -> Call Blocking & Identification is now working again. I can turn on the integrated apps that will block spam calls.

Apple also plans to limit the number of times developers can ask for a review, allow customers to leave app reviews without exiting an app, and provide a "master switch" that will let users turn off all app review request prompts (said to be included in beta 2).

Funny, I already found and flipped this "master switch" in beta 1, even though there are no apps which hook into the new system yet.

Right now I'm just looking forward to iOS 11. It doesn't look like there'll be much in terms of features until then.

Me to! I want it now, but for that I'll do a fresh install of the macOS, no way I'll just do a update.
Also I'll wait until all the first gen users have confirmed that it's bug free ;)

Bold: Why?????

I never reinstalled OS X/MacOs and I am on it since the very first beta.(10.0b)

Three UK Wifi Calling is now enabled in this beta

Hallelujah. That horrendous atrocity of a Wifi-calling app can imminently be put 6ft under.

Just like a model of a particular car. They feature the ability to get you from a to b. People like you don't care about engine specifications. Enjoy the ride!

Perhaps I'm just seeing things, but did the animation when you double click the home button (to switch between apps) change between beta 1 and 2? I feel like in beta 1 it was different, and now it's back to where it was in older releases. Maybe I'm wrong. Probably am.

What?
When apfs will come to macOS it's a new filesystem I have hfs+ now.
And then I'll not update without a fresh install.

It makes perfect sens :)

You do make sense, but I hope there won't be any issues with upgrading. The operating system itself would be a "fresh install" anyway, so we have to see if there's any difference between converting your exisitng user data, or just copying it all back in one big chunk. It would be funny (read: tragic) if there were more early issues with the latter :)

No it doesn't because it will automatically change your File System from HFS+ to APFS seamlessly, more or less the same as with iOS 10.3 and soon others like AppleTv and the iWatch.

No it doesn't, read above.

1. Make sure you have a backup.
2. Update without reinstalling.
3. enjoy the ride.
4. If you run into trouble you can always start a clean install.

This way you will most likely save yourself a reinstall.
Because as I told you before, I never reinstalled OS X/MacOs and had very few problems, and when I did an OS update did resolve any outstanding bugs.

I noticed on my iPhone 6s that normally has APN numbered from 0 to 4 became 0 to 6 for carriers to add more APN
