Apple Seeds Second Beta of iOS 11.4.1 to Developers

Apparently, there's a possibly known issue with iOS 11.4 where if you're connected to 2.4 GHz WiFi, the battery does tend to drain fairly fast. It doesn't seem to be an issue with 5 GHz WiFi connections. Apple may address this with the iOS 11.4.1 Beta 3.

Hard to say if that's really it or not given mixed feedback about it in threads like https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/11-4-se-fast-battery-drain.2120873/.

It will be released in months, like October. Meanwhile, 95% or so are using 11. The most recent 11.4 just got Airplay 2, stereo Homepods, etc. If you only had the new feature in the beta of 12, people would go nuts. Developers might be, 100,000? Public betas around a million? There are many hundreds of milions of devices with iOS 11. Gotta keep moving on all fronts.

You realize that's the version that they FIXED the battery issues. Check your battery options in System.

I got a new battery a year ago. My battery health (maximum capacity) is 100%.
