I'm wondering when they'll quit blocking handoff on Macs with capable hardware rather than continue to take the PR hits.

I'll check it out in a bit. The first beta got forced on me for some reason when my mac was sleeping even though this has never happened, and it broke safari.

Updated on my Retina iMac. No issues. I'm glad to say the first beta fixed my Yosemite disconnects from my AC Time Capsule.

ibooks automatic downloads keeps disabling itself whenever I log out or reboot. No issues if I close ibooks and re-open it as it stays ticked. No issues with iTunes automatic downloads as well.

Can someone see if this is fixed in 10.10.1 pls

This can't come soon enough. Yosemite is great and I didn't have the will power to hold off installing on release but it's just a little too glitchy and quirky.

Can someone tell me what this "major Wi-Fi issue" is?

I'll go out on a limb and assume it's the problem I'm having where my internet doesn't work after the computer wakes up. It says it's connected, but I get no data until I cycle my wifi off and back on.

Based on past releases like this, can anyone say more or less when the public release will come around? I'm really tired of this Wifi issue, and the day for it to be fixed can't come soon enough :(

Are my eyes and ears deceiving me?

The new mail notification and the bing sound are in sync.

This has been pissing me off for (I want to say years...) a very long time!

Oh well - I enjoyed it while it lasted... (2 emails) It is back to the delay. Normally the sound happens just as the screen notification slides off.

Is this just me?

I'm really liking the improvements they've been making to Notification Center. I think they've been working on performance with widgets.

I've been noticing the time it takes my widget to update go down. It's really pretty quick now, without me having to do anything.

Yes, you can re-check the option if you want to go back to getting the beta updates.

Where? Once you deselect pre-release updates, that option vanishes entirely from the App Store preference pane.

If you disable it this way you need to reinstall the seed configuration utility to get it back.

Where is the Seed Configuration Utility? Is it back when I signed up for the Yosemite Beta?

The Seed Configuration Utility is only available to registered developers. I'm not sure if they will make it available to the public beta as they did 10.10 DP/GM updates.

Unless you already have it installed, you can't get the Utility back.

So actually if you were in the public beta program and you then disable the pre-release updates from the App Store pref pane, you CAN'T get it back.

There are several versions of seed configuration utility depending on what program you are on.

Build 14B17 was made available to public beta testers, appleseed and developers, but the build 14B23 was so far made available only to developers and appleseed.

The seed configuration utility you install will determine which betas you have access to.

EDIT: 14B23 is now available to public beta testers too.

Do you mean the Finer window resizing itself!? It's driving me insane.

No, it still opens small.

The problem I was having was that the window would either appear empty or with unclickable icons that had black blobs under them.
