I don't remember how it was in beta 1 but in beta 2 there is a delay when you click till the action shows on the screen so I guess the bug still exists

Yep, just tried it out...it’s slightly faster, less buggy, but it’s still got a “haptic Touch” delay

:(

Maybe Craig meant it would be fixed for the public beta?

At least it runs great on the iPhone 6s. Really snappy and smooth.

Not true. I talked to someone who has gen 1 AirPods and Powerbeats Pro and it worked with those.

Audio Sharing

New Features
  • Audio sharing is compatible with AirPods (1st generation or later) and PowerBeats Pro. iPhone 8 or later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation or later), iPad Pro 11-inch, iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad (5th generation or later), iPad Air (3rd generation), iPad mini (5th generation), or iPod touch (7th generation or later) is required. That's right. And the person I responded to said, "Only second gen AirPods. Must have H1 chip."

I agree with you.

One issue so far, already fed it back through Feedback.

When using haptic touch, some wobble and fuzziness happens in the background and to the edges of the apps.

Theres also a little pop sound and haptic when you need to let go

Email still sucks the big one. At least it does with my MDM’ed account. Won’t open attachments and takes forever to load emails with them in there.

Do you need to be on a Mac to install the first beta? It's says you need xcode installed and I don't think yuh can install that on a PC can you?

Any idea on how to go hide a slide over app? I tried to slide from the top handle to the right but it just bounces the slide over app back.

Thanks. Has anybody tried with non-Apple BT headphones?

I don't know if it's universal to all Android phones, but Samsung allows for streaming to two sets at once.

Thanks for the clarification. It's a shame they limited it to their own stuff.

I get that they want people to buy AirPods and PowerBeats Pro, but not all BT receivers/headphones can be replaced by Apple products.

The release notes have verified this... AirPods 1 and Powerbeats Ṗro work now

It’s not a shame the technology that uses the sharing is Ran by the W-1 chipset

As has been stated, a public beta is coming in July.

(edit)

Actually, looks like the public beta is coming much sooner!

Not sure about that. 2 weeks from now is July 1st. So if they follow the 2-week schedule that would put the public beta at July 1st. They usually do it on the 3rd dev beta.

What are the currently supported files systems for the files app? Is there any official info about that?

It is a shame for people that have iPhones and/or iPads but literally can't use Apple BT headphones.

Agreed. Even their slide at the keynote said something like "bluetooth splitter" or something like that. The wording made it sound like it would work with all bluetooth devices.

Why can't they?
