Agreed. Even their slide at the keynote said something like "bluetooth splitter" or something like that. The wording made it sound like it would work with all bluetooth devices.

Why can't they?

People with cochlear implants can't use in-ear headphones because the microphone on the processor hangs down in the middle of the ear canal to better simulate natural audio collection. And over-the-ear cans are incredibly uncomfortable with this hardware sitting behind your ear.

If Apple would just allow for streaming to multiple BT devices, then there would be no need for headphones for people with implants, because the processor itself has a BT receiver in it.

But as it stands, they only allow streaming to one at a time, which is lame.

Ahh I didn't think about that. And that's actually pretty damn cool that something that was intended to help restore hearing can also act as a bluetooth receiver.

You would think Apple, being as accessibility-crazed as they are, would have considered addressing this kind of thing.

Any idea on how to go hide a slide over app? I tried to slide from the top handle to the right but it just bounces the slide over app back.

This also confused me. Slide from the left edge of the slide over app (reverse of how you pulled the app out from the side of the screen)

My thought exactly.

And I'm no engineer, but honestly, if Samsung can do it, then obviously Apple can.

For the iPad OS - what are those new extra shortcuts?
I am very curious from the home screen can you switch “desktops” with a shortcut?
Is there a place where I can find what will be new from this perspective?

Also, did they make any changes to using the mouse?

Thanks

Thanks! You did get an email but is this different that the Apple Beta Program? Signing in routes me to the Apple Beta Page.

I believe AppleSeed used to be a private, invite-only beta and has since been superseded.

Having said that, my point is I got a public beta profile, which I thought wasn't slated to launch for another several weeks.

It is a shame for people that have iPhones and/or iPads but literally can't use Apple BT headphones.
Why wouldn’t they be able to? Furthermore Androids do not support every function of AirPods or powerbeats sounds like someone crying over the fact that Ford uses Ford parts on their cars instead of BMW

Is anyone else getting an Apple Music subscription confirmation screen that wants me to enter a code sent to your phone? I'm not getting any text message with a code to enter. I can go ahead and cancel it and still use the app, but it comes up every now and then still.

SMB Server Connectivity - Any chance this will come to TVoS for loading films directly from a NAS?

That would be pretty awesome!! I like Plex and Infuse but doing it natively would be far preferable.

Do you need to be on a Mac to install the first beta? It's says you need xcode installed and I don't think yuh can install that on a PC can you?

I believe that was the case. Tho I also believe there were work arounds to it.

I never claimed they did, I'm not crying and had you actually read my post, you would realize that your analogy is ridiculous.

I said that that Samsung (not Android in general) supports streaming to more than one BT device at a time.

Next time, try thinking about use cases other than your own before blasting someone for making a comment.

TBD. Apple has been known to require new ones for different updates, then they've also been known to stick with the same profile for nearly the entire Beta-testing process.

Okay, so today's update is using a different profile, or the same one as used for beta 1?

Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. Installing iOS 13 Beta 2 now.
