So you didn't attempt installing beta 2 a second time? I'm doing that now (it's downloading) to see if I can use an iCloud backup.Okay, I had to do a full DFU restore, first trying the update option, which failed at about 95%. Then unplugged and plugged back in and did the DFU restore again this time selecting the Restore option. This worked, but meant I had to activate and start all over with restoring app and data.
Can you download it and option-click update and pick the ipsw? Used to be able to but not tried in god know how longIs there a way to do a DFU restore using the beta 2 IPSW file?
Didn't see an option for that after restore. Is there a way to do a DFU restore using the beta 2 IPSW file?
Both iOS/IPadOS 15.3 and iOS/IPadOS 16.3 were very short term before release, see http://www.thinkybits.com/blog/ios-versions/So soon you reckon? Would not they need at least 4 betas, followed by a RC?
