IOS 8.02 default keyboard error

Dear all,
After i updated my iPad mini retina to IOS 8.02. I noticed that everytime I press a letter from a-z, the letters do not flash. This made it difficult or a user to know if the letter had been press properly especially when typing in a password because letters arent display while we type. In Ios 7 once you touch a letter on the keyboard it would briefly flashed that indicate it was touch, as for iphone it would flash and the letter touched would enlarge for a second.

Can someone kindly confirm this error, or is it just me? Thank you for your help.

Camera Roll

I have now updated to 8.1 beta 2 on my iPhone 5s, but the camera Roll isn´t back. It´s replaced with all pictures instead. Could this have something to do that I am still using 8.02 on my iPad with same iCloud account?
Or can it be that a use iCloud Libary beta?

ANYONE with USB issues with their vehicle

There are a few posts on Apple's forums about people having issue since iOS8 with USB and their car radios no longer working (iPod Controls). I am one of them. Is there any Developer out there that also has this issue confirm that this bug has been fixed or not in 8.1?

Thanks

I'm not the one that called it that by the way. That was some other guy. Lol

I know, I was continuing my thought from the previous post while replying to you .
Is your 6 running that bad? Mine is very smooth and I have no problems with performance, apart from the weather app and a few tiny glitches like the folder thing. I would never call it slow or jittery tho since it feels similar to ios 7.1.2 to me, apart from Safari and some keyboard stutter on iPads.

Again, it's not running bad. It's just that for someone with an eye for detail, iOS 8 as it stands now feels very sloppy. It feels like starting with iOS 7, Apple started slipping a bit in terms of quality assurance. These types of things never used to happen pre-iOS 7. And again, not everyone sees these small things or sees them as an issue. If you don't perceive it to be a problem, good on you. But for those of us who can see it, you can't un-see it. For me (and I'm not the only one who thinks this) this just takes away from the fit and finish of the overall product. And it's disappointing really. Even more so on the iPad (iPad Air in my case)

Yeah I do see the issues but UI glitches is completely different than having a stuttery OS. The folder corner thing is sloppy but doesn't affect performance, whereas Safari stutter on iPad is an issue that annoys me a lot more.

The way you describe seems like Ios 8 navigation is jittery. For me it's 99% the same as 7.1 with no freezes or jerkiness and very smooth.
I do agree however that since ios 6 Apple has been a bit more sloppy with the .0 releases. Most people forget that 6 sucked as well in the beginning.
8.1 beta has addressed most problems and will be out soon and compared to ios 7.0, 8.0 is a dream anyway

I agree that the performance, at least on my iPhone, is fine. But my main point here is that even though iOS 6 may have had it's issues, it was leagues ahead of iOS 7/8 in terms of UI polish. Go to your iPad, open up Spotlight, and change the orientation from portrait to landscape or vice versa. Watch the choppiness. That's just one example, but there's so much of this around iOS now which didn't exist before. And it's something I'd expect to see in an Android device, not in iOS.

Yeah I do see the spotlight lag and some other spots like safari that need optimisation. I'm sure 8.1 in 1-2 weeks will fix most of those and its a shame they are there in the .0 release. Again apples track record with .0 releases since 6 isn't that good, especially with ipad performance.
You also have to think that the reason ios 6 UI was so polished is that it was the same since ios 1, that's 5-6 years to tune and adjust the finer details.
It's the people, not you in particular, that keep saying ios is the buggiest OS, it's like Windows Vista etc. that annoy me, especially because it's simply not true. There is a similar war going on on the OS X side, with maverick/Yosemite is the worst, buggiest OS X and leopard was the best.

That's something I've been thinking about as well. And from the looks of this http://9to5mac.com/2014/09/29/apple-developing-ios-8-1-8-2-8-3-in-shift-for-2015-launches/ it looks like Apple is listening to those of us that want iOS to be more polished.

Yeah I'm sure by ios 9-10 we have that same level of polish in the finer details . Than we get a redesigned UI with iOS 11 and people will say the same stuff, where is the polish and smoothness of ios 10, it's a bug fest etc...gotta love it.
Even now I would take 7.0 over 6 any day of the week, just looking at screenshots of 6 makes me sick. Imagine iOS 6 on the iPhone 6, super meh. Same applies to Mavericks and Yosemite, can't wait for 16th October :D

DNS issues

Hopefully it fixes the DNS problems with local zones. In enterprise environments DNS servers serve many local DNS zones for internal services, e.g. internalserver.local, mail.local, etc. but none of them are resolvable from 8 to 8.0.2.
Everything worked fine in iOS 7 and before..
So that's a serious bug in the network stack if iOS 8.0.x.. hopefully Apple finally fixed it with 8.1
