Must be a bad link

Nobody shoot me but I'm seeing much smoother performance on my 6s, from what was already pretty smooth. Could be placebo though, will see how my iPad Air and 4s run.

It's never going to be fixed, it needed 2GB of RAM from the start...

Why did it run like the wind on 8.4.1? I don't think RAM was an issue there.

It's poor coding, rushed to keep up with deadlines and sell millions to the 1.3 billion Chinese people.

It's funny how people believe this. iPads with larger screens and 1GB of RAM ran iOS 8 perfectly smoothly. iOS 9's lag is down to poor optimisation, commonly found in early builds of iOS. So far 9.2 has returned by iPhone 6 and Air 2 to near 8.4.1 levels of performance, and that's only beta 1. By the time this goes public I have a feeling users of newer devices will be very happy.
hmm, yes, but I thought OS 9 was all about optimization? So we'll need optimization of the optimized iOS?

Using an iPhone 5S and it's running fine.

Bug Fixes in iOS 9.2 Beta 2:

- Un-paring and re-pairing the Apple Watch will no longer cause the Stocks glance to go missing.
- Syncing Music to the Apple Watch has been fixed.
- An issue impacting audio quality when playing audio over USB in some car stereos has been fixed.
- A bug with iCloud Keychain has been fixed, so users should no longer see "Could Not Set Up iCloud Keychain" errors.
- Videos with 'folw' track associations will no longer fail yo play on 32-bit devices.

New Features in iOS 9.2 Beta 2:
- It's now possible to dismiss the Safari View Controller with an edge swipe.
Seems pretty boring for a .1 update.

No OTA available to you? It's a full download rather than a delta this time.

Since it was a 1.3GB on the phone, I realised it is a full download so wanted to do it from the computer. Right now downloading 10.11.2 beta and will see if the link is fixed by then, otherwise OTA it is!

No version of OS is at its optimal level of performance this soon into its lifecycle. The reason why a 5s runs smoother than the 6 Plus is no doubt down to the screen size. Smaller screen, less pixels to push, less strain on the hardware. However if you believe iOS 9 came out the gate as an optimised OS then you're extremely naive.

I cannot understand this line.

I am not a developer but part of the public beta program. I installed the cert and was able to download beta 1.
Apparently not over the air - same issue here - I have to get beta 1 installed and then upgrade to beta 2

Not an issue for me since I am playing with my company devices - I don't like to install beta on my personal phone.
