The system FW gets updated anytime you install a newer MacOS version, internal or external SSD with loading OS not quite as fast. Is this because of some software that only runs on Monterey?
I don't take the risk to upgrade my internal SSD yet to Ventura. I will wait until 13.3 or 13.4. I run Affinity and Office 2021 and Parallels.

The fact that they needed to issue a second release candidate so soon gives me pause. Apple needs to revert to releasing these things when they deem ready and not on a strict schedule, especially since they're insistent on surprising everyone with the release date reveal less than a week prior to it!
Do you have any experience in software QA?

The weather app based on dark sky is worth it. Its available for the new iOS, IPadOS and MacOS

I can check the weather on my phone, don't really need it on my desktop. The only thing I would be upgrading for is Passkeys if they ever catch on. Otherwise I think I'll wait till 13.2 or 13.3

Really should update the title of the article because the update is going to Developers and Public Beta users as well.

Am the only one who still has non-functioning notifications in Ventura? No sound, no banners, no alerts. I have to manually check Notification Center.
Hey, did this ever resolve for you? I'm having the same problem. Had it once before and tracked it to Duet and "Allow notifications when mirroring or sharing the display," but that's resolved and shouldn't be my problem now. Almost missed a meeting today because of it.

Never mind! Focus settings were the culprit: either Ventura or I had silenced everything in my Work focus. Gonna take a little work on my side to make that all make sense.
