I had one USB and the other HDMI, the HDMI stopped working, went to USB and it was ok, Now, not working again, Nothing I do makes any difference, swap cables, ports.. nada

Yeah looks like the majorly fuc*ed that up.

Can't get it to install, downloads, reboots but returns to desktop. Anyone got any ideas? I've tried terminal install, safe mode to no avail.

If anyone happens to have the same problem what fixed it for me was a total reinstall of MacOS. I had issues on my hard drive that Disk Util couldn't fix.
