Other sites are not reporting the pull back and are saying its available. Mine is updating iOS 9 so I can't check.

I'm in the UK and I have updated my iPhone 6 plus to iOS 9 beta 2 but my app still says my watch is up-to-date. I installed the latest prov profile on the watch. Grrrrrrrr

Agreed,

I get these new OS builds to test for the State, get a feel, find vulnerabilities, etc,. Each experience differs user to user. A dev/actual tester will have a way different experience then that of a person who wastes money for beta software just to be the first.

In that case you're assuming I'm the latter but in actual fact I've been an active developer for 5 years now. Unfortunately I don't have the income to buy two Apple Watches (not at the moment, solo indie development is a fickle beast) and so my current one is suffering massively. Admittedly Watch OS is new territory but most of the time I've been able to get by on Beta's and survive but beta 1 on the watch is an absolute mess and there's no way back but I do need to test out some of the new SDK options outside of simulator so I'm kinda stuck in that awkward position whereby I need the beta's but am struggling to operate normally with them....it hasn't been fun at all.

But ultimately you're right, it varies depending on the user but my general opinion at the moment is if you don't NEED the beta's don't get them.

Is this due to server overload?

I don't know. I was able to download iOS and OS X updates at record speed. But watch is notta
Well, just because your connection was accepted by the server doesn't mean other's aren't dropped. I'd assume their redundancy is on a ridiculous scale, but if we're bumping up against max connections... who knows.

If my battery on my iPhone lasts as long as it took to download and install the update I will be happy. That will mean it has about doubled. :)

So the question is, if they have pulled it and the only reason they pulled it was because it was going to everyone. When will they re-release it to developers?

I have only seen the 10.11 beta so far. Checks of my iPhone say I am up to date as of right now.
I never saw the iPhone update either so manually downloaded it from the developer login. Downside being you have to restore through iTunes rather than simply updating. Still waiting for Watch beta 2. Looks like they found an issue with it and are pulling it so no more downloads of that until they reupload it or somewhere shares it.

Or Alt-Click "Check for update" and point it at the firmware.

Even if someone shared it I wouldn't recommend installing it. Who knows what might be wrong with it.
I could be wrong but doesn't it check in with apple and get blessed before it installs away. So sharing it wouldn't work if I understand how that process works.

when whatever issue they're experience has been resolved. it's a beta so really there is no real urgency on Apple's end.

So I guess this means no watchOS 2 beta today. I wonder how many non developers installed the beta. My guess is close to 0.
