I had no idea the bluetooth issue was related to the Intel chip, but given that, it that make sense that it would be worse in a car. I don't have a bluetooth speaker at home so never tested it here, I just presumed it was my car. Wondering if disabling LTE might make it better?? Anyway, something that occurred to me - perhaps Apple is delaying AirPods because obviously they are bluetooth, and they wouldn't want complaints about their newest baby due to the buggy Intel chip... so, hopefully that means this gets fixed quickly so that they can release the AirPods! That, or start a recall, because it's getting really annoying that I can't stream my music reliably with my fancy new device!

Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me. I have such a strong LTE signal in my house, it doesn't kick over to the WiFi calling. WiFi calling will only engage below a certain threshold. :(

oh that sucks. sorry :(

if it's any consolation, the galaxy s7 edge international unlocked works perfectly ;)

Are you having issues streaming bluetooth audio as well? If so, what device do you have exactly, and what are you having trouble streaming it with? I am have been having issues since getting my 7+ (AT&T model) with the bluetooth in our cars. One car is now working (it wasn't before 10.2 beta 3), but the other is still having issues - will try out with beta 7 now, but doubt that is working.

I've been having this issue as well and it's driving me crazy! It pisses me off that Apple decided to fragment the new phones with two different chip manufactures. What's worse is there's no fix from Apple yet. I commute an hour and a half each day and the constant skipping is driving me nuts. The folks on Reddit keep saying it's my Head Unit and refuse to believe it's a known issue. I don't remember it doing this when I got the phone at launch, only in the betas has it done this.

It's not your head unit. Is EVERYONE's head unit not working that uses an AT&T phone?

And how is switching to unlocked affect the head unit.. sigh.

Oh I know it's not my head unit. The subreddit is a huge circle jerk. Like I said this issue only started once the new betas started. The original iOS 10 build when I first bought the phone had no issues. They really need to fix this or let me get an unlocked phone that has the other chipset.

Wait... yours worked at one point? I'm trying to figure out if mine ever did and this is a software issue or hardware issue. I don't remember mine ever working...

When I got the phone originally I did not have an issue. It only started after the 10.1 beta builds. At first my tinfoil hat went off thinking the Air Force base I live near were screwing around with some stuff causing the issue lol. There are times where it doesn't do it at all. I think it's been narrowed down to only phone with the Intel modems.

I switched back to my iphone with the release of 10.2. Let's see if it fixes the bluetooth issue. I'll post once I find out.

I've had problems from the day I got the 7+, so not thinking it's a software issue.

Also, when I am having a lot of skipping, turning off LTE actually helps it work like 99% of the time. Thankfully I can still stream decently on older 4G so it's not a big deal to get it working properly when I want to actually listen to something. Just annoying to keep switching that off and on constantly!
