Hopefully this fixes FaceTime Audio being unable to transition from WiFi to Cell network!

I had that problem too. That was a funny add to the multi year issue of FaceTime not switching from 4G to WiFi. I hope both are solved. But would expect that just the newer one will be as I don’t think Apple can fix the FaceTime 4G->WiFi switching problem.

Thanks for the info on the new features in iOS 11, honestly didn't make note of it the first seven times it was reported.

As long as the 3D touch gesture for app switching is disabled, I refuse to upgrade to 11 or even install the beta on my iPhone. It's a gesture I use constantly, and I hate the idea of having to go back to using the home button.

I'm sure there's got to be legal reasons why they had to disable this key gesture. It makes no sense to remove it. #furious

Legal reasons? Could you please expound?

I miss this feature greatly and may downgrade to iOS 10 to get it back. Any explanation as to why it would be removed is interesting to me.

Apps still close with a delay compared to iOS 10 on my iPhone 7. Very annoying and takes away a lot of the „snappiness“. :(

Going from WiFi to 3G/LTE etc isn't an issue on iOS 10, but it sure has been on the iOS 11 betas.

I know people always say new builds "feel snappier", but Beta 5/6 specifically had some lag for me between swiping on pages of apps on the home screen. That seems resolved in Beta 7.

Well I’m thinking since they are removing the home button, the entire screen will be like a home button. So they can’t have that previous feature on newer phones that lack a physical home button. Who knows, all will be revealed shortly.

I believe "lsutigerfan1976" left out the /s in the post...

It was joke. I think it went over everyone's head though.

What complete garbage. It’s running perfectly fine on my iP7 and iPad Pro
Have yet to encounter littered with bugs as you say.

Again, I was joking. But I don't think anyone realized I was being a smart ass lol.

iOS 11.0b7 still has the pesky UIKit navigation menu bar issue. Apps which use navigation menu API will have this problem. Apple has marked the bug reports as duplicate, so at least are aware of the problem.

Guess youll be on iOS 10 a good long while it ain’t coming back.

I guess so!

I have no idea TBH. I'm just guessing because there's no other logical reason for its removal from all iOS 11 betas.

But I just read this and it could be the answer to what it will evolve into, mimicking how it works in current betas of iOS 11 on iPad. While that will be good, it's not great. I could easily use the existing iOS 10 gesture to switch to the previously used app in one swipe. If this solution is implemented, then it will take a swipe up and then a tap.

Did anyone else have their iMessage chat bubble when typing animation change? Mine looks different. I don’t have a screenshot, but it looks like a comic.

I hate that iOS 11 took away the ability to use reachability and invoke the notification screen from half way down the screen rather than swiping all the way from the top. I used that all the time in iOS 10. I hope they bring it back

I miss this feature so much! It would be even more useful in iOS 11 for searching and initiating multitasking when in an app.

Also I loved how you could see the time in a fullscreen app by swiping partially down and then swipe it away without needing to fully open it.

I have sent feedback through the app regarding both these points and hope you have or will do the same.

Apple today seeded the seventh beta of iOS 11 to developers for testing purposes, just a week after releasing the sixth beta and over two months after introducing the new update at the Worldwide Developers Conference.

[EDITED]

Update: Apple has also released a new iOS 11 public beta for its public beta testers. iOS 11 Public Beta 6 can be downloaded over-the-air immediately.

@MacRumors ... can we the forum members please get updated videos of the Betas showing off key changes upon news updates ... please? I know it's time consuming but the same video for 6 Beta's is well boring and playful, in a bad way.

I've tried the beta multiple times and always went back to 10. I understand this is a beta but will 11 actually be anywhere near as smooth, responsive and fast as 10?

Everything apple pro (YouTube) does a solid job of showing improvements

(Y) Thanks for the tip will check it out now.

I'm really worries that iOS 11 is going to be more beneficial to those using an iPad while us iPhone users just get security updates and minor speed improvements ... basically tidbits nothing substantial.
