I know *most* of you read the posts every week and have seen this stuff, but it's new to some, which is why it's included each time. Sorry, I know it gets repetitive with later betas, but I don't want to leave info out for people who aren't regular readers. We also generally like to have something ready to go so we can let you guys know about betas right away, which is why we update just after with notes rather than waiting to include them first. Hope that explanation helps.
You can use links sending new readers to the iOS 12 Beta 1, right?

Animoji. Memoji. Focussing on this garbage just brings down their devices. How about adding something useful instead ?

Right?!
They should have an update that speeds up old devices significantly, going back like a FULL 5 years... that would be amazing & unprecedented, and then you’d have absolutely nothing to complain about & make ridiculous snarky comments about, right?! Right??

We often ignore the fact that Apple is in the business of selling devices. This type of "garbage" has a place in the market or they wouldn't do it. You don't get to $1 trillion by accident.

Apple may won't to get FaceTime between two people actually working worth a **** before they try 32.

Downloading Beta 8 right now.

Well, just finished and rebooted. Have not noticed any performance issue but the notification on the Settings icon is still there.

Anyone who thinks that Apple speeding up old devices and mentioning this at the start of the keynote has nothing to do with the bad PR associated with being found deliberately slowing down old devices is very naïve.

There's nothing ridiculous about my comment and your response is way over the top.

Mentioned it at the start of the keynote, did they??!
Hmmm.... one could almost say they’re FOCUSING on it, based on that.
You know, as opposed to your tired & untrue assertion that this update is “focused” on Animoji (which came out w/ iPhone X, 11 months ago...) and Memoji, which got a small few minutes demo, near the end of the keynote.
But please, don’t let “way over the top” truths (which I guess you call naivety?) interrupt your rant!
