Frankly, I get irritated every time I read the details of a beta update and the primary announcement concerns emojis. News of that nature only appeals to prepubescent girls.

The only "feature" I'm looking forward to is being able to remove contact pictures from the tops of message threads. Annoying waste of space.

More emojis? More emojis!! F** bluetooth not working on AT&T phones, but at least we are getting endless emoji additions. MORE EMOJIS!!

At least can we have a little at&t phone with no bluetooth emoji?

I agree bluetooth audio is still not perfect, but it is improved. I really was hoping the coming update would permanently correct the problem.

Where are you guys seeing that each 10.2 beta only included emojis? The beta articles simply state whats new in 10.2 update NOT whats in each different beta. No wonder Apple never did public betas in the past, some users have no business dealing with beta software.

I'm being very melodramatic, but thanks for understanding. It's a nightmare and I really regret upgrading to a 7, and everyone I know who has an AT&T 7. Unlocked seems to work, but I don't want to sell my current phone to buy unlocked. Might as well leave iPhone altogether and go someplace else then.

I know Apple won't miss me or my canceled 15" macbook pro 2016 order and no one really cares. But I have nowhere else to go to say, how utterly disappointed and depressed I am over Apple. Used to feel like quality, almost cult-like, it was a club of premium prestige products. Things that cost a lot because they worked. You looked down at the poor android guys who dealt with crashes, and bugs... In the last year, that's completely turned around. Android seems way more stable. I never really had an apple budget, I would spend as much as needed. But I can't even get myself to keep the mbp order, because I KNOW it will have some major issues and Apple will not address them. They will delete threads of people complaining about that issue, and instead of fixing that issue, they will simply add a secondary touchbar that has more emojis. Getting things broken out of the box is ok, it's normal, no QA can catch this stuff. But on a 4200 laptop, I don't know.. maybe hire another QA person.

Rant over.. glad the emoji's keep coming though. We can never have enough of those.

Not *only*... no one said only. Just said that it seems emoji's are being added or updated in every release, EXCEPT for the things people actually want. Like I don't know.. bug fixes.

I agree. I'm not even sure how this is news worthy - emoji? Seriously, I'm saddened by this new generation. Apple no longer makes pro products - this is purely for the mass fanboi audiences now.
How is an iOS release not a news story on an Apple news/rumors site? Plenty of fixes and changes in the update. Not sure why one small one is somehow affecting people in some strange way.

Seems like plenty of people don't really look much at anything and just pick up on one for two words here or there, even when something doesn't really affect them, and then just use them to come up with something to throw out.

To people who are mad at Apple because they think Apple only cares about emoji:

That lots of us are experiencing various bugs/problems doesn't mean Apple has abandoned quality control in order to focus on emoji development.

Apple cares about fixing bugs, too. But they don't list specific bug fixes in the betas, and they aren't sure which bug fixes completely solve the problems they're trying to solve, hence the need for beta testing.

Obviously, but it’s a constant reminder of the frivolous priorities of Apple lately while competitors are pursuing—and succeeding at—useful functions.

I’ve reported so many inconsistencies, inefficiencies and handicaps in their ecosystem that I should be charging them for consulting services.

Probably the most stupidest comment of the thread (so far)

do you have a slight idea what it takes to make a update .. or Beta update... 100;s of devs work and pin point the issue and think how can we make a end user smile ...
we must appreciate those hard working DEV ... and by the way you why are you using 6 plus in any way ... go and use Moto and joto and gear S2 watch lol

apple fan are not just the fan ... we admire APPLE device simplicity and appreciate how apple device features help us on day to day function...

sorry I I sound rude .... what else you expect from a apple fan to android fan .. lol.....

Christ. You're whining because a .2 release doesn't cater to what you consider "pro" use? It's a small patch.

Doesn't quite seem like it's Apple that's going overboard with that.

Perhaps not overboard. But many appear to be disappointed how the Touch Bar was emphasized with Emoticons and the WWDC Keynote also focused on emotions and messaging. There is no denying Apple has turned tides with various features advertised.

Weird. It's almost as if when they appeal to the broadest group of people they sell the most and make the most money. Damn that company for making money!!
