I agree. I'm not even sure how this is news worthy - emoji? Seriously, I'm saddened by this new generation. Apple no longer makes pro products - this is purely for the mass fanboi audiences now.

Exacatly my point. Least I'm not alone on this.

do you have a slight idea what it takes to make a update .. or Beta update... 100;s of devs work and pin point the issue and think how can we make a end user smile ...
we must appreciate those hard working DEV ... and by the way you why are you using 6 plus in any way ... go and use Moto and joto and gear S2 watch lol

apple fan are not just the fan ... we admire APPLE device simplicity and appreciate how apple device features help us on day to day function...

sorry I I sound rude .... what else you expect from a apple fan to android fan .. lol.....

I use a 7 Plus so how my a fanboy? My not allowed an opinion anymore on this site because I don't lick Apples you know what? Seems odd if people have anything bad to say about Apple they must use a Android phone.

I find it hilarious that Siri understand:

Turn all alarms off

But doesn't understand:

Turn off all alarms

So annoying lol

A great example of Siri's incompetence. If Siri's abilities hadn't been exaggerated by Apple's advertising, it would be excusable. But when people are literally tempted to throw their phone into traffic after a typical conservation with Siri, it is ridiculous to think that we should trust the same company to make a self-driving car.

Remember the early Siri ads such as the one with actor Samuel L. Jackson? Try repeating his conversation with Siri and hear the reality of Siri's replies. If that ad wasn't blatant false advertising, I don't know what is.

What does this have to do with OS updates? It's another demonstration of Apple's priorities. Instead of delivering a potentially useful function such as AI, they are tinkering with cartoons.

Oh, thank you so much for letting me know this. I curate monthly playlists for myself and they are such a pain to scroll to at the moment, (I love pulling the car over to scroll for a playlist). Especially as Siri seems to be getting worse at recognising playlist names.

"Play October 16 playlist",
"Sorry, I Can't find October sixteen playlist",
"Dammit Siri, this is what people are talking about"
LOL Yeah I do the "Hey Siri, Play iPhone playlist" "OK what playlist would you like?" ummmm "iPhone". "Ok playing iPhone playlist" ......alreighty then thanks. WTF

Mine is stuck saying update requested when I went to the update tab. I rebooted the phone and nothing. Deleted the profile, rebooted and resintalled and still there.

And yet I have experienced none of this things on my iPhone 7+.

That's funny! I've usually had little to no bugs with updates. Especially not constant things that get in the way of essential functionality. But this is bad across all iOS devices.

In fact, my watch will not work for calls reliable which was fine before. Also contact names go away on the watch occasionally so you only see a number and messages.

Almost as if all the recent updates where optimized on the absolute latest hardware, while completely ignoring just a generation back.

Odd, there are definitely people who didn't like iOS 9 as much and are actually liking iOS 10 better. There are certainly those who have worse experience for one reason or another, which is pretty much the case with essentially any iOS version really.

Does any one have a logical explanation from the stuttering and frame dropping in iOS 10 animations? um running the latest beta on iPhone 7+ and still feel the frame dropping. it all started since iOS7 on the iphone 5, I believe apple is doing something wrong with animation processing. I hope anyone explain to me the reason for this! thanks:)

Logical explaination= It's beta software.

Anandtech actually went through this and saw the smoothest performance on an old iPhone (IIRC an iPhone 5) running an older version of iOS. Long story short: optimization. iOS 10 is beginning to fix some of these issues.

As an aside I'll state that animation performance of a 6 vs 6+ back when they were released was lopsided in the favor of the 6. My wife's phone just smoked my phone. I've been happy with a 7 but I have no idea how the 7+ is doing. I've seen some lag on my 7 but this is nothing compare to the nonsense I had to put up with on my 6+ for so long until Apple fixed things only to break yet again.

Anybody having problems with iTunes Match? My songs aren't playing, some or most of them skip and some play but stop before the track finishes. So annoying. Hope is not only me.
