All the people using this 10.3.3, How stable and power hungry is compared to 10.3.2?

I'm planning to perform a clean install and stay on 10.3.3 as long as I can, in my iPhone SE.

10.2 is blazing fast.

Sorta but the elimination of the "5"'s not necessarily the letter. The letter is the version of THAT build. a is 1st, b would be 2nd revision of build 14G5057 for example.
Beta 5 14G5057a
Beta 6 14G57
(so basically the same build as b5 but with release/GM versioning)

Yeah and look at the build# too. It is a release versioning scheme (without the "50") but the same as beta 5.
It is not showing on https://twitter.com/iOSReleases. Can anyone guess why?

I wonder why there’s so many betas for what seems to be such a minor release.

I saw the word beta on Twitter had hoped it was for iOS 11!

If you have tons and TONS of people reporting on the same minor issues, it's worth a new release to get rid of those issues so that you don't keep wasting time sorting through reports of the same ole things. It's an iterative process, and sometimes they crush large bugs, sometimes smaller ones.

Not every fix is meant to "wow" you guys though.

This has little to do with US, as users. As a user, I can point to exactly zero times where APFS caused a problem for me in anything at all.

We can expect that Apple will continue to refine APFS. I would be shocked if they didn’t. Like Swift, it wasn’t complete out of the box. But it works extremely well.
This is true but they are still working on the items mentioned in that article. As you said to further refine APFS. So that was @Audigy s point.

As we’re talking about betas, and our use of those betas, I felt it was important to point out that one of the biggest changes Apple has ever made to the OS went off without a hitch.

And yes, developers may not always agree. But that’s why they’re developers, and we’re users. I haven’t done development in about 17 years, so I no longer worry about that part of the equation. But if users have no problems, then 90% of it is already successful. Developers, as a species, live and die by how they can overcome evolutionary changes, and that’s how it should be.

The good ones work around problems, and the bad ones die out.

Now to go find the profile to get this since Apple's website only gives betas for iOS 11. Not interested in that mess right now.

Please Apple, make it perfect. I'm not going to use 11 due to my 32 bit apps.

You should be looking for replacements for those apps. I’ve got almost 700 apps on my iPad Pro 12.9”. I gathered those apps beginning back in May 2010, when I bought the very first iPad. The listing of unsupported apps in Settings/about/applications, is about 200.

Most of those aren’t being supported by the developer any more, because the developer is often out of business. So if you have a problem, even running iOS 10, you won’t get help. Some will be updated, as there’s still time. Here and there, some on my list are off because of a 64 bit update, but I suspect most won’t. Too bad, because I like some of them, but we just have to suck it up and move on.

If you don’t, then you will never be able to get a new phone, or iPad, so you might as well start looking now.

Check your watch settings--look under "Workout" settings and toggle off "Detect Gym Equipment". That helped my battery significantly on series 2 watch

If I install this beta can I back it up ? or is the same as iOS 11 beta ? ( you can only go back to your 10.3.2 backup)

Hope they unlock finally (we are in 2017) the full screen option on iOS (Safari-Browser for videos, 360 tours, etc..). It works perfect under MacOS, Windows, all Android devices, but not on :apple:iPads and :apple:iPhones, it's difficult to understand why they block this

I really hope ios 11 get new beta today, old bugs now they need to fix like appstore and appswitcher not closing apps, unleas they release a new ios 11 beta with bug fixes we wont be able to find many more bugs
Maps is all wonky for me as well as this.

This update is 1.73Gb for my iPad Pro 9.7". If past history is any indicator, this means it's the public build of this revision, and it'll get released in a day or two. The 10.33 PB updates have been between 40-75Mb each. When it jumps to 1.5+Gb, it usually means "public release build".

Hopefully they offer a kill switch to stop the nag of 32 bit apps. If you can't update why nag?
Also after hanging up a phone call by Siri sometimes it still says calling.

Just downloading it now. I have an iPad 4 which I use for basic tasks and wish to continue to do so.

My partner had an iPhone 4 ( which got me iinterested in the Apple eco system ) and that was left almost useless with ios7, so I hope the last version of ios10 is as good as it can be.

They nag for two reasons.

One is so that you will remember that you can’t use that app now, and so you should attempt to tell the developer to update, or to find out if they are still in business.

Two is so that you can decide to delete it if you find out it can’t be deleted, because otherwise you could forget.

After all, if you find you can’t update it, and you can’t use it, why would you keep it?
