Does anyone know if they've added the new functionality for people without 3d touch yet? That's the thing which would tempt me to try this beta.

Has anyone had any trouble with downloading Podcasts? Since I've updated to this latest iOS 10 Public Beta, my Podcast Episodes have been queued to download, but will not initiate downloading to my iPhone 6. Any suggestions for work arounds?

Am I the only one that can't get the iPhone to use custom ringtones for different contacts? I can change the tones just fine by editing a contact but the only the default tone plays when getting calls in.

Actually I think I have had this issue with all iOS 10 public betas. Haven't seen anyone else mentioning this?

8 pages of comments and not a single new feature discussed? Guess it's all bug fixes and iMessage/emoji bickering...
Um iOS 10 is the feature(s) update. This late in the game is typically getting whats already there working correctly readying for a release to the masses. But here is one, if you 3D touch the phone app you can tap on a fav contact and actually dial them. :)

Wow this has got to be the best Public Beta I've tested and I've tested them for a few years now.

Apple you may go ahead and release the GM and announce the new iPhone tomorrow!

I agree! I haven't had a single issue with beta 5 or 6. Beta 4 had that signal dropping issue but that eventually went away on its own.

Apps are no longer able to be updated for me. The previous two betas were excellent and apps would update immediately after opening the store. Fastest ever actually.

In this beta I get a spinning circle and they never update.
Have rebooted, selected, deselected, nothing works.

Try "update all".

Nope it is not!

I’m surprised there isn’t more complaining about this. I find Notifications nearly useless when I can’t sort them by app, because they are too numerous to parse without some kind of categorization. I am hoping, quixotically, that the reason it hasn’t been reintroduced is that they’re trying to figure out how to design it. Long shot, I know.

Ta. Wonder why they didn't bother adding those details to the bottom of the post this time. Maybe it's because changes are getting thin as things just gets more stable and efficient.
We are in beta 6 so realistically it should mostly be down to bug fixes and other smaller improvement and optimizations.

I caved and installed it on my iPad Air 2. It seems fine, but no sign of the rich notifications and the like. Without that, I'm not really seeing much improvement on iOS 9 - outside of the Photos app.

Not sure if this has been brought up yet regarding home automation with the home app. I was using automation through a third party app to unlike my front door when I arrived home and it worked great. Now with the new Apple home app it asks me if I want to run automation when I arrive and if I don't do anything, it doesn't run. This kind of defeats the purpose of automation; if I have to press a button to activate it, it is no longer automation, it's simply mation. Anyone else encounter this and figure a way around this? I'm know this isn't the final product but I hope they remove this unnecessary step and return to full automation.

I'm not having any battery issues,, been on ios 10 since b2, this is the most solid one.
