All I want is for them to remove the stupid ass confirm deletion message when deleting a text or iMessage thread. What moron over there thought this was a good idea?!
Yep very annoying. Feels like windows. Remember when introduced “just swipe to the left to delete” and now swipe left and confirm. I normally delete my messages practically daily so this need to confirm really bugs me. SJ has been turning around in his grave he doesn’t even know what position he’s in anymore. Someone would starting to miss someone he never knew. Damn it Coock get your s..t together.

Okay, I can see why it was added. You don't know how many threads I accidentally deleted on my 6+ after the iOS update that enabled reply from lock screen. Since the 6+ doesn't have 3D Touch, you swipe left and hit "reply" instead of doing a hard press. Sometimes I would be in the Messages app, and just out of habit slide and tap, instantly deleting the whole thread with no recourse. I'm also someone who never deletes messages, so it seemed weird to me deleting a whole thread was so easy. So assuming that's the reason it was requested/added, maybe it could be a change where the confirmation only pops up on non-3D Touch devices? I've yet to accidentally delete a thread on my 7+, and didn't even know there was a confirmation now (like I said, I never delete messages :p)

I would love a swipe left to confirm deletion for the Notes App. Especially locked notes. I've been requesting this on the feature request/feedback portal for a while now.

Is retrieving locked notes from the trash a workaround?

one thing they could add is some sort of trash folder like Photos or mail... deleted threads goes there... and are automatically deleted after a specific number of days. that would be perfect for me.

Since this is the 2nd beta in the same week, I'd say we're getting very close. Week after next maybe? I'm anticipating another beta and then the GM next week. (Or GM the following week at the latest)

Think we will see the official release after the event on the 27th

All I want is a fix for my GPS issues.. :( Assuming that it's a software problem.

I've been seeing this same GPS problem with my iPhone 6S recently, but assumed it was hardware since I hadn't seen it publicized anywhere. Thanks for pointing that out!

Well, the other obvious possibility is they discovered a glaring issue in beta 5.

I had this issue on my iPhone 6s since launch of iOS 11. Tried reset, restore, nothing. Yesterday I found a Reddit post about a possible fix. Here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/783gc5/iphone_6_gps_issue_since_ios_11_update/

Backed up my phone using iTunes, restored through iTunes then set up as a new phone. Took it out and drove around my apartment to test GPS, GPS tracking was working fine. Went back home, restored again from my backup. So far GPS tracking is working as it should.

I hope this would help you.

If you read through that long thread you find that it might be a mix of different issues, so it may still be hardware for some of us. Many people with a brand new iPhone have it, but others with older phones claim that replacing the GPS hardware (antenna?) fixes it. For me the issue appeared within a week from an iOS update, so I had assumed it was software, but who knows. I'll keep an eye on that thread, hopefully most of these cases can be fixed in software.

Just installed the PB. Still the same crap. After the update the apps take a lot of time to start and still no battery informations since beta 3!!!

And iOS still slows down my phone when my iPhone reaches 5% of battery where no app can get started. After 1-2 minutes while it tries to start the apps, the apps are crashing.
