My trusted source from within the company (can't reveal his name, please understand) says that public release will be released very very soon
You didn't need to bother them for that information, I could've told you very soon too

11.4 is a very minor update to 11.3.This is totally going to release (non beta) next week.
Apple loves dropping new versions right before I travel.
Not sure, will have to ask him again
Nope. A newer phone will fix that though.Does 11.4 fix the brutal lag on the 6 plus?

6S is laggy. Last pub bet was worse after install before a reboot. Twitter was catastrophic but ok after reboot. No, you need at least an A9 for that.
If Apple holds true to form expect PB today too. Late beta updates have short intervals in hours between DB and PB.Today's release is not Public Beta, in case you're not a Developer.
I agree with you, friend. Beta versions of any softwares equal to the latest features with the buggiest execution. Always updating to the latest official release (not developer beta or public beta release) can grant us both stability and newest experiences. I’m currently waiting for the public release of iOS 11.4I am skipping the beta's this year. I enjoy trying the new features, but stability has become more important to me and my household.

https://www.macrumors.com/2018/05/09/iphone-battery-replacement-availability/On my 6s Plus all the previous Beta versions showed 87% and "beta version" next to it. While also being laggy from time to time.
Now it shows 83% and still "beta version" and on the next screen "battery management activated to prevent shutdowns ...". If I deactivate that, it will lose capacity quite faster than before and displays "iPhone shut down unexpectedly ..."
My sons 6 changed from showing 84% and "beta version" next to it, to 77% and showing "Service".
Maybe they didn't want to tell customers they don't have enough replacement batteries.
Off to the Apple store to replace the battery on both.
First my sons as to have a phone for when mine gets serviced![]()
or just buy a slot from someone with a dev account for a few bucks lmaoIs anyone buying Apple Developer Membership just to be able to download iOS 12 beta 1 on June 4th? Or will you guys patiently wait until public beta 1 is released later in June?
Usually beta 1 is restricted to developers only. The beta profile available un June 4th
