I have been shocked with how stable iOS 12 has been on my 7 Plus. Huge improvement over iOS 11 beta and final. Kudos to Apple on that.

Wow this new beta seems to be very buggy. The Settings app just crashed like two times on my iPhone 7. Cant't really go into the iCloud settings anymore.

Reinstall back all stock apps if you ever deleted any

Elaborate on how you are seeing the iOS 12 beta as more stable than the latest version of iOS 11.

Literally don’t notice a difference in speed, opening apps feels the same, very little hiccups. Feels exactly like iOS 11.4.1. Quite surprised to be honest. I was a bit gun shy after Beta using iOS 11 but Apple said they made efforts to keep iOS 12 stable and speedy. Don’t notice increased speed but also had no complaints in iOS 11.4.1. I don’t there any iOS release will be heavy enough to tax the A10 chip for a couple more years.

I am actually finding this version to feel slower on my X. It feels like they slowed down the animations from their previous speeds. If that is actually the case, that seems like a really weird decision, to make a phone feel less snappy.

It is a known issue that apple listed in the changelog. Re-install any stock app you may have uninstalled previously and that should fix it

It does seem like they may have slowed them a little, but I find the scrolling much smoother inside of apps. I haven't been able to update my Mini 4 yet, only trying on my X.

Depends on your threshold for possible hiccups. It doesn't seem to be "bricking" anyone's iOS devices, but there are certainly some speed bumps.

Instagram works perfectly on my X. It has been fine with every single iOS 12 beta.
Anyway that would be up to Instagram to fix, not Apple.

Revert back to stable.

Deleting and reinstalling seems to have fixed the freezing. Wonder if it was either related to having multiple accounts or being connected to Facebook - neither states of which it is in now.

It’s a little thing but one thing I thought they should correct and they did. The update iOS section no longer says “downloading “ even when it was “preparing” plus they have time remaining indicated.
