Apple Seeds Sixth Beta of macOS Mojave to Developers [Update: Public Beta Available]

Getting slaughtered on this beta. Can't print, messages keep removing names and going to numbers. Can't add pics sometimes to One Note. Some dragging and dropping is lagging pretty hard too on my 2016 15".

Why do people install a beta OS on their main production machine?

I've been running 10.14 but it is on a development test machine that won't mess anything up if it corrupts everything.

When exactly did I say that it was my only or primary computer? If your development test machine breaks with a beta, do you not have to restore it to a pre-existing configuration with installed software and access to shared drives?

For the record, the computer is a backup Plex server, occasional Handbrake machine, and test bed.

I'd recommend updating to the latest build... all my issues have gone away (minus battery performance which is still horrible).

Printing is still partially borked for me in this update. My HP OfficeJet 5744 works but the laptop no longer sees the Brother 2270DW.

Then install beta 7. That fixed the printing problem.

Oh. I see. Well that is unusual. For those who continued to comment about printing seem to all have said that beta 7 fixed it - as well as apple’s seed note. Yours is the first post I have seen saying otherwise.

I would encourage you to submit a bug report to apple.
