I think you maby have defective gpu, because most have only login glitches that disapear automatic, yours seem to be all the time, until full restart.
You should send email to that craig dude and say they havent fixed it..
If it was defective GPU then I'd expect the problem to disappear when I switched GPU from Intel 530 to Radeon 460, the fact the glitch spans both iGPU and dGPU leads me not to think it's hardware especially when I ran glitch free for 3 days until installing 3rd party (Adobe) apps.

Once it's cleared, I can sometimes use the machine for hours without a glitch and without a restart, but when it does glitch the glitch stays until I tinker with Colour Profile tab or resolution.

Yeah but could be that adobe triggers hardware errors, or corrupt firmware errors. For me i think my SMC is corrupt, everytime i do a SMC reset i get a glitch with white lines moving upwards and blinking at login, and then tons of screen tearing until restart

Your assessment seems logical. The issue is most likely somewhere between the two drivers and the code that spools up and down the dgpu. This could be some third party software inducing these errors. This looks like a really nasty code bug. The same with loading of ktext from file vault 2. These are intels nasty finger all over it. This is similar to a latitude we had at work with sky lake earlier this year at work. The firmware was horrible graphics issues. Thunder bolt 3 dock issues. Took us 2 months of coaxing and pleading to get it working and when the head man wants it you can't just retun it like we all can right now.

Maybe they will throttle the GPU and crank up the fans.
Less heat, no more glitches and less battery wasted...

Does this BETA make Apple Watch unlocking your Mac work consistently every time? I'm going to guess no... previous BETA didn't.

*sigh*

No idea what's wrong for you but just to let you know with mine it works 100% of the time. Same with a friends and his new MBP. He has the original watch and I have series 2.

Maybe this is the one that fixes the graphics glitches on the 2016 MBP's...

I've had the same graphical problems on my 2015 rMBP, albeit far less intense. The way I fix it is to just go to System Preferences > Displays > Color, and then it goes straight back to normal

When it gets this late in the beta cycle, there's little new to say aside from announcing that a beta is available. So yeah, the articles do end up sounding a lot like each other, but we like to highlight the betas right away so you guys know they're available for download.

Definitely more noticeable when we're getting multiple betas a week, but since we're expecting a launch next week, this is hopefully the last beta post you'll see.

I look to MacRumors to know when software gets released. Thank you, keep it up!

I updated at it drastically improved the battery life issues I was having on my 15inch MBP 2016. I was getting an average of 2-3 hours. That seems to have beed addressed with this new update v6.
Must just be on the 15". My 13" dropped 21% in 30 minutes under light usage, which is up from 14-15% in the same time on the last beta. There's either an errant process running somewhere or Safari is a bigger pig in this version than the last. This is ridiculous, and quickly approaching ludicrous.

Which adobe apps? We had a similar issue with our client who was running adobe premier, screwed the screen up until an NVRAM reset. Put him on a different Mac for the time being.

Apparently you can delete the Metal folder within premier to fix this but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet for them.

Stale, overused complaint. Try to be more innovative with your comments than Apple has been with their hardware lately...
It's not stale or overused when Apple are the ones that keep harping on about the bloody stupid things.

The emoji jokes were funny for a while. Now it's just getting old..
What's getting old is Apple harping on about them at every update...and the few remaining fanboys who get upset over the constant reference to them! Now that is getting old...almost as old as a Mac Pro or Mac Mini !!!!!

For me, it works consistently for a while. I don't remember the exact version, but it must be around public beta 2 or 3.
(27" iMac, Late 2013 /w classic Apple Watch)

macOS Sierra 10.12.2 includes new emoji, introducing Unicode 9 characters like clown face, selfie, face palm, fox face, owl, shark, butterfly, avocado, bacon, and more, plus many profession emoji are available in both male and female genders.

Apple has also updated the artwork on many existing emoji characters, adding detail to make them look less cartoonish and more realistic. New wallpapers are also included in macOS Sierra 10.12.2, introducing the color explosion options that were previously used in iPhone marketing materials.

There are few other outward-facing changes aside from the addition of new emoji and wallpapers, but the 10.12.2 update also includes some important bug fixes. A serious graphics issue that has been affecting some new MacBook Pro owners has been solved, and a Time Machine crashing issue, also impacting the new MacBook Pro, has been fixed.

Available since September, macOS Sierra is the latest Mac operating system. It includes Siri support, Apple Pay for the web, Universal Clipboard, Apple Watch auto unlocking, improved iCloud Drive integration, Picture-in-Picture multitasking, and dozens of smaller features that can be found in our macOS Sierra roundup.

Great article: two and a half paragraphs dedicated to new wallpapers and emoji. And then a fast recapitulation of other updates, graphic glitches and crashes. Speaking of priorities.
Professionals being abandoned since 2012.

Its not heat issue, i have max 65 degrees on maximum load for hours

Lol so professionals are abondoned because of how macrumors write their article :)
Laptop professionals aint abandoned, some people can do their job on laptops, but those who need desktop computers are a bit abandoned though, but since 2015, thatswhen mac pro should latest got updated.

Graphics driver updates, for sure. :)

...
But why Apple doesn't provide more detailed changes is a bit sad I think. Maybe they don't think it's worth the time it takes to list it all. Better to just fix the problems and move on. :)

It would be worrying if it really did take too much time to list what was being fixed in each release. I guess a query on their bug database would do it.
select title from bugs where version_fixed like '10.12.2%' and visibility = 'public'

After 3 days on fresh Sierra install without a problem I installed Adobe CC Desktop client, Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC and then started having graphics glitches. However, neither Lightroom nor Photoshop are ever open when it glitches, thinking it could be Adobe Desktop Client I was then asked to completely uninstall all Adobe products (using Adobe uninstallers) and the problem still persisted. It looks like it could be a third party app (such as Adobe) breaking the colour profile somehow but others have reported no Adobe products installed but other 3rd party apps and they have the same issues.

I have also tried NVRAM and SMC resets which made no difference unfortunately.

In the first paragraph I joke macrumors' priorities.
The second is related to apples goals. As you correctly commented "some people do their jobs on laptops". They force pros to upgrade, by making older machines obsolete. I challenge you to compare the 2012 MacBook pro with the MacBook pro 2015 or 2016.

I had the 2012 rmbp since launch, and got the 2016 now, its a huge improvement for photography and music production wich i do both and those are 2 professional fields possible to do on laptops

Yeah, it's kinda same when Samsung is mentioned, then bad and often incorrect puns are flying about explosive Note7. Don't mind that the article could be about Samsung fridges or other products.

I'm really losing the will with Apple at the moment. I really do hope things will improve.

Why are people so obsessed with Siri on the laptop? In fact, why are people so obsessed with Siri? Blackberry nailed it over 10 years ago with really accurate voice dial recognition. I never had any problems with it.

Fast forward to 2016, and we have voice control everywhere but it's terrible. So much so, Siri is switched off on my two MBP's and the wife's MBA. I use it sporadically on the iPhone but only for a bit of entertainment.
