I've used until PB5. Then uninstalled because it wasn't as snappy as High Sierra. Apps & system preferences took noticeably longer to open.

That doesn’t actually re-enable subpixel antialiasing but it could give you a better looking font anyway.Turn it back on, if you miss it.

Deprecated? Didn’t Microsoft give up on Silverlight years ago?Just installed today's beta on my production 2018 MacBook Pro. Works great so far with all my apps, except one tiny thing. Silverlight. We use it on our internal website for options on our homes we build. I guess they deprecated it. Guess I will have to find an alternate way to check those.
WOW, that really makes a positive difference on my non-Retina MBP. Thank you!I've been turning off 'Use font smoothing when available' in System Preferences / General -- seems to look better imo when in Dark Mode...
The first developer beta usually doesn’t get released to the public. That’s why public beta release number is one behind the developer release number.
This is a generally unhelpful post. I'm not seeing those crashes, but if you shared how or when you see them, we can also test to see if it's isolated to your configuration. It's also helpful to attest to what happens in this "unexpected behavior".Is Mojave ready for release. Not yet!
Overall it is looking pretty good. However, I am still seeing crashes with Preview and unexpected behavior with FaceTime and Photos.
How's the stability of this thing? Thinking of downloading from High Sierra but don't know if I want to risk it yet.
Broadly speaking, I would say it's always a good idea to clean install after running a beta OS. A good idea to clean install any major OS update, really.Looks like it could be a solid upgrade for me coming from OSX Sierra.
Would it be worth doing a ‘clean’ install from USB I wonder when the GM gets released?
Is that not something you can test on a tool like BrowserStack?Just installed today's beta on my production 2018 MacBook Pro. Works great so far with all my apps, except one tiny thing. Silverlight. IMO, I've been using Mojave on my production machine for two weeks now. It has been gold. No crashes. No hiccups. Smooth as a hot knife through butter.
