Cant wait for the Public Beta Update. On my 6s with the current Public Beta, I have to keep wifi turned off. If I turn it on, it constantly presents me with the list of available access points, even though I am already connected to a wifi. It make the phone totally useless. So until that is fixed, I am probably burning more cell data since wifi is off. And yes, reported it twice to apple.

I was having this problem and a hard reset fixed it.

Anyone else having issues getting this update to show up?

Does your phone still show the profile? I didn't have any trouble with beta 3 but I did with beta 2, had to reinstall the profile.

As for my phone, it showed it right away but it seems to be taking a long time to download, longer than even beta 1. Weird.

It had the profile, but I reinstalled it and now it showed up. Same thing happened with the watch last beta.

I think with the Raise to Wake feature in iOS 10 have "Rest Finger to Open" on is the way im going to go bc the only reason i'd miss lock screen notifications on iOS 9 and earlier was bc i was in the habit of clicking the home button to wake my screen in turn activating TouchID and essentially bypassing the lock screen. But now with raise to wake dont need to click the home button to wake the screen (i know i could have been pressing the lock/unlock side/top button to wake the screen but i was habitually used to pressing the home button to wake the screen)

Point of this rant, Raise to Wake+Rest Finger to Open=Sweet.

You know, Apples OS are usually stable enough that I don't think about hard resets any more. Thanks for the advice. I will try and hope my phone will be useful on wifi again!

Does anyone else feel they really need to make 'Rest Finger to Open' the default setting (especially on iPhone 6 and older)? As it stands now, people are going to have to learn a new way to interact with their phone and this could really bother folks. They also might not be aware that there is an option to change it and think that it's something they have to accept.

Apple gave us an option to either use the new unlock method with TouchID, or keep the old way of resting your finger. Bam, perfect.

Those who were complaining about blasting past the lock screen too fast can now be satisfied along with those who were complaining about having to press the home button twice to unlock. Really, this is pretty significant.
