I know but I'm hoping Tim's conscience will wake up. Such restriction is purely artificial.

Except the whole point is to make up for the super fast Touch ID.

Is anyone else having issues getting their iCloud library showing up in their iBooks? It works fine on my iPad Air 2, but not on my iPhone 6 Plus.

Edit: It took the phone about half an hour to see things in the iCloud Library. Downloading from the iCloud Library hasn't worked yet.

It's still a really useful feature to anyone with any Touch ID.

Apple gave us an option to either use the new unlock method with TouchID, or keep the old way of resting your finger. Bam, perfect.

Those who were complaining about blasting past the lock screen too fast can now be satisfied along with those who were complaining about having to press the home button twice to unlock. Really, this is pretty significant.

Quick Actions - In iOS 10 beta 3, a 3D Touch on an app icon will now bring up a Share option that includes the name of the app. Previously, the app name was not included.

i realised just now that it says: "click home button", and it's the same in iOS9 too.
i have the feeling that everyone (apple included) always used the term "press" when talking about the home button, isn't it strange?

I have the beta profile installed, got 10 r 2, but it will not allow me to get 10 r 3.....just a lag on the servers? Or do I need to install a new profile for r 3?

This may yet be another indication that a non-mechanical home button is eventually coming. If the home button becomes an non-mechanical part of the glass, saying "click" may be clearer than "press", the latter which could be misinterpreted as being the same as "tap". Saying "click", the user will expect to push until the haptics give feeedback. Just a thought...

I just updated to beta 3 and mine says "Press home to unlock" and "press home to open", even though the first one means to put your finger on the home button and the second one to actually press the button. Neither says "click"

That feature worked fine for me in beta 2. Though I heard a lot of people saying it wasn't.

Have you tried reinstalling the beta profile? I had to do that to get it to show up.

I never used a profile. I originally restored to the beta 2 IPSW.
