That’s always a good start but usually the two biggest offenders are location usage and background refresh apps allowed to run. So look there first. Also remember you can see what’s the biggest battery drains fairly easily in settings under battery. Often the results are surprising with badly behaving apps.

I myself think iOS (this beta and a few before) is the cause of batteries draining fast.

If anyone find a fix for the sound bug at beta 3 please quote me, it's almost impossible to use the phone like this
Well the fix is to turn off keyboard and lock screen clicks in settings>sounds. At least until they turn this volume back down in the next beta/release.

Does it fix all of our problems?!
Yep! except the large red font issue while posting in MR forums :)

Same here iPhone 7 with 8 months of use drains with locked screen. I’ve just restored it few days ago with iCloud backup to fix any software problem that can be causing the battery drain but it didn’t. Can’t get trough a full day with a single charge even with light use. With iOS 10 I was able to finish the day with 10% of battery ):

Same for me. With 11 the autonomy is getting worse, what a pity.

I wish one of these updates would stop the time from disappearing from the lock screen, requiring a reboot to fix.

Wow, this is very loud, I can't remember, was there a way to adjust the volume level somewhere in settings for system sounds e.g. keyboard clicks, etc.?

Aren't system sounds -including the keyboard - tied to the ringer volume (so not affected by the physical volume keys with default behaviour)?

thanks those are the areas I always check on my friend's phones and it is always the same - all apps allowed to run in the background and to send notifications
