I, and several people I know, have been experiencing increasing issues with iMessages being out of order. Could them testing messages in the cloud cause this?
Something changed, that for sure. I’ve never had out of order iMessages until this last week.

I though their response said "early 2018" for the new iOS battery stuff. May is more mid 2018.
Yeah, Apple divides the year into early, mid and late. So early 2018 to Apple means 1 January to 30 April.

Yes, exactly, at least at iPhone X
Wow that is even a bigger bug than the loud sound then. So basically the switches do nothing. Weird. I can still turn them off totally on the 6s so that helps except with the phone dialer. That one is still loud as crap. Interestingly my lock sound is now normal too. No idea why unless toggle off and on fixed it. I had no sounds at all after the update, rebooted the device and got the loud versions. Only thing I think I did was toggle those switches and now lock screen click sounds normal. I don't use the keyboard clicks tho cant stand hearing it while typing. :)

I'm getting a lot of app crashes and the screen freezing as well as the volume bug...

[doublepost=1515019835][/doublepost]Does the keyboard volume problem effect iPhone 7? Or is it only being found in iPhone X?

7 too

That’s always a good start but usually the two biggest offenders are location usage and background refresh apps allowed to run. So look there first. Also remember you can see what’s the biggest battery drains fairly easily in settings under battery. Often the results are surprising with badly behaving apps.

Thank you. Yes I never let an app to ALWAYS have access to location I only allow location when the app is used and also I always have the background refresh off. The battery section shows the 3 most battery drainers: Facebook 26%, Whatsapp 18%, Spotify 10%. But I noticed that battery drains with no apps running and the screen locked. For example I did the test closing all apps before going to bed, charge all night to 100% and disconnect the charger at 7am drink my coffee take a bath/dress then check the phone and it have 86% in just 45 minutes it's insane it only have 8 months of usage and a fresh iOS install with iOS 10 was very different.

My iPhone X silence the keyboard and lock sound with no problem or bug.

I normally have keyboard clicks and lock sound turned off. After updating my X, I turned them on to see how loud they were. They were same as always. Has anyone tried turning those sounds off, then back on?

Wouldn't it be simpler to just disable keyboard clicks (at least for the moment)?
He stated earlier the switches didn't work on the X.

I am so ready for this. They must have hit a pile of snags or something.
Probably "or something". Seems basic things seem to have issues working correctly in the iOS 11 branch.

Yeah that seems to have solved it for me on iP6s. Really strange issues with sounds in this beta. I had no sounds after install, then reboot and LOUD lock, keyboard clicks and dial pad. Toggle the two switches for lock screen and keyboard click and both those seem normal now. Other system sounds were barely audible. (notifications, messages, new mail, etc) Going into settings and selecting the sounds for the different options made them work again. (so far).

Of course it will default to the Washington Post, a newspaper that they are trying to glorify with a movie. Ok, they were the watchdog for the people in the ‘70s , now just a political tool of the left...sad really. Apple New feeds hard left news by default also. It’s hard to find honest unbiased Journalism anywhere.

I woke this morning to my iPhone X on a green led status with the RavPower wireless charger.
The charger has always reported orange status prior to update.
So wonder if there are updates to the QI protocol in this release.
