Really don’t understand why Apple Pay Cash is restricted to 18+. Defeats the purpose, plus, the card will be the age limiting factor - pretty sure a 13 y/o won’t have a debit card...

It's just another layer to ensure that.

Download right now on iPhone X... I hope there are some improvements, because the more i use the X the more i notice the UI and all the swiping gestures pretty much sucks

redownload the profile directly from the developer area using safari on your phone... works every time

What are your issues? I haven't seen many issues with the UI but the Gesture UX has been near-perfect for me since I got the X.

Which is why the 18+ limit is there. Apple Pay Cash is a debit card where you an only add money to the account with Apple Pay payments. This will also be why it is limited to the US currently as agreements need to be in place for a company to run the account. Apple are not acting as a bank.

SMH...What sucks exactly? I am trying to figure out if I have issues that I am not realizing because all of the gestures are butter for me on 11.2 Beta 2.
App switch, accessing the control center, closing apps... the notch, although i'm embracing it app should have a option to auto expand apps to fill the notch. nonUI the countless times siri has activated for the power button, the design of the phone is not great for large hands my index fingers has bend caught in photos a few times.

all my gripes I can adapt to over time, but App switching, closing and control center gestures are just plain silly and needs to be rethought.

"will be fixed" is incorrect here, the issue was already addressed as of 11.1.1

More significant is the calculator bug it will fix, which as of now remains present in 11.1.x
As of now, the calculator is borderline unusable.

Yep, fixed that bit. Thank you!

Probably will be just in time for the Christmas season for all new iPhone owners out there.

#1 for me has been app switch... i've watched videos on people doing the upside down L, the recommended way swipe up and pause all which seem slow.. sometimes it takes 2-3 tries just to get in to app switcher. With frustration I have just been swiping down and typing in the name of the app and reloading it that way. Maybe its cause my hands are larger or perhaps a screen protector would help with more traction. that gesture rarely works the first time for me

Messages in cloud going to make 11.2 at all

I seriously hope so, I really miss that from the early iOS 11 developer betas and I’m just not bothered to install another beta until it returns. I’m happy to wait for everything else but iCloud message syncing I’ll be all over like a rash (I cleaned that up :D)

Other than the obvious swiping along the bottom bar to move between apps on the X, my most used task switching gesture is just swiping diagonally from either the left or right corner towards the centre of the screen.

Or indeed diagonally from the bar. On my X it instantly activates the task switcher, no waiting for a second for it to kick in. But I suppose it could well be different on other phones for some obscure reason.

thats working for me the swiping diagonally... this could be it, let me try it out throughout the day and report back.

My wife's iPhone 6s autocapitalizes random words in mid sentence. We hoped 11.1.1 would fix it, but no such luck. I've read reports that others are also experiencing the frustrating bug.

Random names get corrected to all caps for me. I'll type Timothy and it replaces it with TIMOTHY. Does this with names I've never typed before also, so it's not from the learned dictionary.

Awesome, hopefully it’ll be as reliable for you as it has been for me. I don’t know why it’s not the gesture Apple advertises as the default one. But oh well.
