My wife's iPhone 6s autocapitalizes random words in mid sentence. We hoped 11.1.1 would fix it, but no such luck. I've read reports that others are also experiencing the frustrating bug.

Same problem there, and it is something never had happened before....

Yep, fixed that bit. Thank you!

I’m on the most recent Public Beta of 11.2 (15C5097d) and while my own sent messages are no longer auto-correcting incorrectly I cannot say the same for messages where I am the recipient. This is also occurring on my MacBook Pro running the latest High Sierra Public Beta.

I have had the same issue with my alarms not always making a sound when going off. It appears to be random.

#1 for me has been app switch... i've watched videos on people doing the upside down L, the recommended way swipe up and pause all which seem slow..
You don’t need to swipe in an L shape, you can just swipe diagonally up. I don’t find it awkward at all.

Mostly I just use the card flip between the last used apps. That’s 99% of all the switching I need and faster than the app switcher proper I find.

Also, why are you closing apps often enough to find it bothersome to hold tap before you can swipe up to close?

anything new about airplay 2?

Finally, ***** finally. Audi MMI/carplay is functional again. It was almost literally unusable on previous iOS11xx iterations. Was seriously on the cusp of ditching iOS for Android just so I could, you know, play some music.

there has been times when my entire X phone is stutters ... i'm not sure if its the Apps open, beta, or something else. I do know there is an issue when phone get too cold that they freeze for a bit. But, I has not been cold enough to rule that as an issue.

With frustration I have just been swiping down and typing in the name of the app and reloading it that way. Maybe its cause my hands are larger or perhaps a screen protector would help with more traction. that gesture rarely works the first time for me

Other than the obvious swiping along the bottom bar to move between apps on the X, my most used task switching gesture is just swiping diagonally from either the left or right corner towards the centre of the screen.

Or indeed diagonally from the bar. On my X it instantly activates the task switcher, no waiting for a second for it to kick in. But I suppose it could well be different on other phones for some obscure reason.

https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...-guaranteed-to-make-your-life-easier.2084829/ might be of some help with things like that (among some others).

Anyone on public beta and have an apple watch? I have the watch profile installed to "help" it work with the public beta.

Ever since I installed it yesterday my watch isn't getting most of my notifications. I randomly get some but most are buzzing to my phone instead of my watch.

Anyone else?

I'm actually a fan of this. Just texted another dev about whether to use Exponent (Expo) and React Native for a new app and it amazingly capitalized "Exponent". Seems like it's smartly reading context in sentence, since I don't have any contacts by that name nor have I typed it enough to train the dictionary (assuming that's a thing).

They haven’t addressed it in updates so far. Still charging my iPhone 6 3+ times a day. Restored my phone several times and set it up brand new each time. It’s happening to several people I know with 6. My fiance has the 6s and she has no issues.

Make sure you don't have a beta on iPhone 6 if you aren't near power throughout the day. Battery life impact of Betas seems to be exponent (lower case :)) -ially worse with device age.

iMessage is turning into an iTunes- Mission creep.

Does it hit on you or leer at your friends?

Has anyone actually used Apple Pay Cash yet? Really interested in that.

PM me and I'll send you my message id for you to test sending a payment. ;)

Really don’t understand why Apple Pay Cash is restricted to 18+. Defeats the purpose, plus, the card will be the age limiting factor - pretty sure a 13 y/o won’t have a debit card...

18+ required to legally agree to contracts, and there's a T&Cs for the service. Also, how does limiting it to adults "defeat the purpose?" Will people suddenly carry cash all the time when they reach adulthood or something?

I have at home - it's handy. I paid my other half back $50 and it had no issues. Then that money was used to shop at the store for dog food.

Is the “transcribing voicemail” progress bar new? Didn’t notice it in previous versions.

On that note I got a free 30 day trial for Verizon’s voicemail to text message and it transcribed perfectly while iOS left blank lines as always. I know iOS transcribe is still beta but if frickin Verizon can get it perfect (and deliver it near instantly), what’s the hold up Apple? iOS transcribe was beta in iOS 10.
