Excited to try out these Apple Maps improvements that are supposed to arrive in this beta.
Just remember that will only affect part of California, as the app itself isn't getting a redesign, just the map/data being used will be updated in certain parts of California and more parts of the US later this year. Then I imagine we'll see a redesign of the app next year.

From what I can see they seemed to have fixed a bug where apps in folders were not entered with the name. The icon would be noticeably more to the left

It seems to work just fine for me. Still activates the same way.
Try force quitting Safari and then open it back up. This resolved the issue for me.
Well, thank you both for commenting on the issue. Unfortunately, I tried both force quite and restart, and it still not fixed. I might sent them a bug report since it wasn’t mentioned on the patch note.

Is the interface for adding a photo to a shared photo stream still incredibly crippled on the iPad?

Holy crap. This beta is sooooo smooth.

I’m glad they fixed the CarPlay issues so I was able to reinstall!

Is it me, or or Face ID ridiculously fast?!

Do you think the performance thing they talk about is already implemented? partially implemented? will be introduced later?

Because I installed iOS12 on my iPad Air, it is less frustrating than iOS11 but not even near the day before iOS11 when it was running iOS10 (Keyboard lag is still ridiculous in iOS11 and iOS12 for now - I hope). I wonder what other secrets are coded in iOS since 11 to slow down older devices.

OpenVPN still not working. Might be an App issue? It connects, but disconnects as soon as you tap the app to the background. Just like in Beta 1 and Beta 2.

Just had the weirdest glitch on my 7 plus, went to scroll through home screens and this green Matrix-like image faded in and out. Then the screen shut off. But I was able to the screen back on with the on/off button.
