Failing for me repeatedly too. Downloads but then fails on the following "preparing" bit. 2018 Mac Mini running B2.
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) - Installed
There was a supplemental update for Final Cut Pro X and the Pro Video Formats that showed up in System Preferences immediately after install.
Has anyone succeed to install beta 3?
Let me know if you get it working!Getting the same issue on the 2018 MBP

It's throwing an error for everyone - it's on the dev forums too.

"Keys" above got it installed on a 2017 15" MBP and another poster got it installed on a 2012 Mini. It really looks like it's just affecting 2018 machines.
Hoping iCloud Drive issues are fixed. Will be installing tonight.
Me too. I’ve been seeing multiple copies of files on iCloud Drive - many of which contain ‘zero bytes’; Notes not syncing.
The iCloud Drive issue *might* have been fixed just looking at it in Beta 3 (although it’s taking an age to ‘upload’ everything that is already there...); Photos has started also ‘uploading’ my existing, synced 65,000 photo Photo Library.
I’m still unable to log into the App Store using the Apple ID I use for purchases (different to my normal/developer Apple ID). So no App Updates for yet another 2-3 weeks. Sigh.
The iOS & Watch (and iPadOS) betas have been pretty stable but Catalina is a mess IMHO.
I really have to ask at this point because I can not find anything on Google. Since the Beta one my whole iCloud Drive has been messed up. I now have in Finder under Locations a Cloud icon with iCloud Drive - (data scope) , has this happened to anyone else? I cant find any informations on data scope, what to do with it, or how to delete. It's weird.
It’s been playing havoc with my App files for Xcode. I recently pushed an update to the App Store only to find that the machine running Catalina messed up some of the files. Changes which I thought were there were gone. Ugh...
I run macOS Catalina on my 27" iMac (Late 2013, 3.4GHz, Geforce 775M 2GB) from 1st Dev beta on an external SSD (fresh installation) and also successfully updated a copy of the live system (macOS Mojave) on the internal drive, what's a self installed 750GB Micron SSD.Ok, let me put it this way: Has ANYONE gotten this to install and if so, on what machine?
Yeah thats a huge bummer.. my iCloud Drive has somehow fixed it self by turning it on and off a few times. But wow did my machine run extremely hot then. But I still having that separate folder and I feel like some of my actual files have been messed up through that. Let's see what Beta 3 and the future releases does. I dont wanna mess with it either.
Hmm. Not installing. Keeps throwing an error
