Yes they do. That's just silly.
Craig and Tim, among others, are usually given iPhone prototypes 3 months before launch for testing. Tim gave an interview in his office in 2016 where you can see an iMac on his desk and a MacBook Pro in the background that never went into sleep mode throughout the hour-long interview and had no icons on the desktop, suggesting that it's a product placement and not an actual machine that he used.

It's actually rather silly to suggest Apple Executives use laptops at all. Most C-levels I know don't use laptops and I doubt Apple's leadership team is an exception. They're actually a very old-fashioned bunch. Desktops and smartphones, just like you see in TV shows and movies. That's why I said what I said. I don't know what evidence you have to compel you to so firmly believe otherwise. If you think C-levels have time in their busy lives to suffer through rev A or .1 bugs, you're probably not familiar with that world to begin with. The fact of the matter is, outside of Hardware Engineering, there is hardly any motivation to get the latest gadgets. You really think Deirdre O’Brien or Sabih Khan cares about getting on Monterey or M1 Macbook Pro? 🤣

Er, no. It… doesn't suggest anything like that.

Both Craig and Tim have stated that they primarily use an iPad.

Yeah, I think you're right. My laptop looks like that too.

*holds ⌘ ⌥ and clicks on the desktop*

There, all windows hidden.

(Is your contention that nobody has a clean desktop?)
Clean desktop + generic wallpaper + no screen saver + display doesn't turn off for the entire interview + the awkward position of the laptop itself, i.e. opposite to the main desk

But I could be wrong, maybe Tim just likes it like that. I certainly wouldn't suggest that "nobody" has a clean desktop. It sure sounds like you do.
