For all you crazy people like me who can't wait:

Disable SIP (look it up)

Put these two directories in the trash can:
/Library/Apple/usr/share/rosetta
/Library/Apple/usr/libexec

Retore later if you need rosetta (I don't)

Check for update. Loading now!

softwareupdate --list-full-installer didn't work for me. Got errors during install. Try it first though, works for some people

Remove the two directories from trash install.

Renable SIP (look it up)

Hey there! So, I’ve got Tahoe on another volume inside my internal storage, and I also have Sequoia which is my main system. I didn’t turn off SIP, I just deleted those folders on the Tahoe volume from Sequoia. When I booted up Tahoe beta 2, I checked for updates, and guess what? I was able to update to beta 3 without any hiccups!

If you’re in a similar boat, this might be a simpler way to handle it.

Lol.. i reported some inconsistencies with the trash / empty trash. The one in the bar was squared, and the one "empty trash dialog" was round. Now they are the same. Love it. Just one thing, should the little trash icon in Finder bar (customise / add bin) with or without lid..

I hope Apple keeps the rectangular trash can since it looks a lot like the one next to my desk

don't need to disable sip to do this...

This is what I did, and it worked like a charm.

1. Downloaded the installation pkg
2. Shut down the Mac, rebooted in Recovery Mode, disabled SIP, and restarted the Mac
3. Deleted the whole ‘usr’ folder located inside /Library/Apple/
4. Restarted the Mac
5. Executed the pkg
6. Started the Install macOS Tahoe Beta.app inside the Applications folder
7. Restarted when prompted
8. Dragged the ‘usr’ folder out of the Trash and back into /Library/Apple/
9. Shut down the Mac, rebooted in Recovery Mode, enabled SIP, and restarted the Mac
10. Done

Right now, there is a bit of a bug with the beta that is preventing Apple silicon Macs from being able to download it. Intel Macs can be updated with no issue, but Apple will need to address the server side bug before it will be available to everyone.
they seem to have re-released it so the delete rosetta workaround won't be necessary anymore:

not sure if it is a new build as the full installer still has same link

Nothing changed on macOS itself, same InstallAssistant, same ipsw. They only changed the Rosetta stuff.

The whole issue was that they had buildVersion where it should be BuildVersion in the list of Rosetta updates. Other people in the AppleDB community identified the problem like 10 minutes after the release, it took Apple a little longer... >_>

Yup, can confirm its up. Downloading now.

That's been available since Big Sur for Intel apps wanting to recompile to Apple chips.
You can't possibly be so ignorant as to not understand why a dev would want to test their port against the upcoming version of macOS instead of wasting their time on old releases, can you?

Lol, ok, so a dev is waiting for a developer preview, 5 years after apple silicon is introduced to port their code? Got it.

Developer previews are to test existing API behavior and to try out new APIs before they hit prod, compiling for arm / Apple Silicon has been available since Big Sur, you can't possibly be so ignorant to not understand that, can you?
