Apple Seeds Third iOS 8.4 Beta With Revamped Music App to Developers, Beta Testers

Hoping it will fix:

-Not showing any music without "show all music" turned on
-FaceTime orientation locking when switching in and out of apps
-Respring when skipping too many songs

Other than that, pretty stable.

the global search feature in this music app allows you to search for an artist and view a list of artists, albums, or songs with that name. It displays album only without the songs listed.

interesting that it didnt carry over to the regular view for music.

I do since I am not sure how to stream music underground with no signal yet on my commute to the office here in the NYC area. Do Spotify or other services allow for download to play and if so, for how long?
 
I am not a fan of the new music app especially the radio. the navigation and the way it's layed out is confusing .

seems to be the case now!

you can make any album or playlist on spotify available for offline listening

yep just noticed it after u mentioned it. also did it show how many songs the album consists of before? never noticed

edit: appears to only be working if u have more than 3 albums of an artist.

also there is a new icon next to a track to indicate which songs are saved to the device
