Public beta 3 is showing on my 6s.

If I open a app with the new beta and then close it by pressing circle button it goes to landscape mode for a few seconds. Same for anyone else? iPhone 6+.

Seems like that's the regular (developer) beta rather than the public one (since it says "beta" vs. "public beta").

NO Some PB are getting some are tricking the system into getting the Dev release via an EZ Old method.

The PB Apparently comes out 1 to 2 days later if you truly can't wait or don't wanna wait forced method is as follows:

Step 1 delete PB Profile

Step 2 powercycle/reboot device even if the device already did so via profile removal

Step 3 search updates and you should get it

Step 4 download and install

Step 5 Enjoy

Step 6 if you want Feedback assist tool reinstall profile and boom all done

Do we know yet if iPhone 6s will support Apple Pencil and if iPad Pro supports 3D Touch? It seems like these two go together, but Apple has been intentionally vague about it. Apple typically does not add the marquee features of the new iPhones to iPad for a full calendar year, so it wouldn't be surprising for the iPad Pro to not have 3D Touch...but...doesn't kinda have to? Maybe? Maybe not...

Apple haven't been vague about it. The Pencil only works with the iPad Pro.

You don't need to delete your profile anymore. The Public Beta is now officially out. Downloading as we speak with profiles installed on both my iPhone and iPad.

Downloading on iPhone 6.

While beta 2 managed to address some Calendar and Photos bugs I uncovered, I'm hoping beta 3 can address a couple of additional bugs:
• Messages not the same across iPhone (iOS 9.1), Watch (watchOS 2) and MBA (10.10.5 - via Safari 9). Oddly enough, MBA seems most up-to-date. And upon installing the public beta, my wife had to accept Messages form my @icloud.com account - which I don't use (still an old .mac guy) for Messages as opposed to my mobile number.
• Calendar events not aligned on iPhone, watch & MBA (via Safari 9) - with MBA also seeming more up-to-date.

We shall see.

I'm on a 6 and iPad Air 2 and I'm downloading both via public beta

6Plus still unlocks in landscape more often than not. Infuriating. Happens even with a fresh restore as new. I think at this point, I'm convinced it's a hardware issue.

I mentioned that there is a new setting in Music - to allow Genius and to allow MyMusic on iCloud. I did not mention them in previous versions. Now if I want to add a song in MyMusic , I should activate the above option.

Am I the only one who wants Spingboard landscape mode for iPhone 6S? Why oh why can't Apple do this!? Does it really need to be unique to the plus?

And multitasking 3DT for landscape mode please (although I suspect the sensors are lacking in the Edges of the screen as can been tested when clicking safari links at the very top and bottom).

My daughter went to update her phone to 9.0.2, and Beta 2 started downloading. She's 14, and is not a developer. Can't get it to stop. Any suggestions?

Lol seriously.... If she can download the 9.1beta 2 which now is beta 3 then she is magician or you are a big troll.

Anyway when the download is complete you can choose to not install now and delete the downloaded files under storage management.

This was more meant for when a PB isn't out but a Dev version is and for the future reference of the person I was addressing as well as others

Yes the Feedback APP Comes with the Beta Profile therefore you'd ONLY Have it if you were PB enrolled/enabled

I am on beta 2 and just realised that there is a beta 3 and started downloading it OTA. As luck would have it, it just struck me that my dev subscription expired on September 30. I have placed a renewal request again, which says 2 business days like it did last time. Now, my question is, did I just bork my phone for the amount of time it takes Apple to renew and activate my subscription again?
