Apple Seeds Third iOS 9.2 Beta to Developers and Public Beta Testers

This seems to have been fixed in PB 2, at least on my iPhone 6. Tested this past weekend on a road trip.
 
My 6S+ definitely ran hotter and drained battery faster on beta 2. So far so good since installing beta 3 last night.
 
This beta is solid on my 6s except I've noticed that when clearing history from Safari. Clear all history will delete everything but when using the "today" etc feature it doesn't actually delete the latest browsing sessions properly. I.e. The stuff I'd browsed recently still showed up. It isn't properly removing items by date or time.
 
Battery life is worse in this release. The second beta was the best. Unfortunately not for the third one, it's abnormally worse. My battery was full (100%) and in the next hour it drops to 20%, without any usages.

Whoa! That stinks. I haven't seen this issue at all on my 6S.
